He's been our least effective forward all season, not just on the scoreboard, and if there is any truth to Babcock's quote that the players decide who plays, then Abdelkader has played his way out of the lineup, even if it's only for one game.

Do you have a source for the Byfuglien trade? I for one wouldn't mind him here, give us some more size and snarl on the blue line, or we could move him back to forward and park him in front of the net.

Clowe suspension review for coming off bench against Hawks

Don't think it was a good idea for him to come off the bench to do it, but I don't blame anyone on the Sharks for taking a run at Shaw for that hit, could have been Lemieux/Draper part 2. I catch enough Blackhawks games to realize that I really don't like Andrew Shaw, he acts like he's gunning for Matt Cooke's title of dirtiest player in the NHL. Back on topic, if the officials ruled that Clowe came off the bench, then he should be suspended, that rule exists for a very good reason. -

Was just about to start this thread, too slow. Honestly, I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did, nothing ever seemed to change on that team with him as the coach, it'll be interesting to see who replaces him.
