I will not call them bandwagoners if they stop freaking out to the refs when their player gets hit cleanly. Or when they have a team that sticks together and wins 3 cups in 10 years or something and they continue to sell out every game. Thats when I won't consider them band wagon fans I'll consider them just fans.

This is so wierd watching guys i have never even heard of play, it probably has something to with the year. This was a year before i was born! I didn't start watchin hockey till about 96 or 97. Still some really good stuff here, that second goal was a beauty.

I can't wait for the next hawks, wings game at the joe so i can just yell s*** at chi town fans. Hawkeytown is the lamest excuse for a name that i can think of. You don't see boston doing that or montreal or even boston doing that to montreal. Or see the Rangers do that to any other original six team. It just salavates with envy from their fans. It's like the rivalry between state and michigan (although I'm a state fan) Michigan fans could really care less if they lose to state cause they want to beat ohio state(sucks) so bad.

This interview sounds really promising, notice HE brought up playing with Detroit not the hosts. I didn't hear a big boast for san jose. He really sounded pumped about playing for the wings

ESPN is so dumb to hockey and is too ignorant to even give it much of a chance. Its got what every other sport envies. Speed, hitting, FIGHTING!!, as much scoring as football (if goals were 7s). I really don't get it, maybe its cause they can't relate to it, i don't know? They just need to open america's eyes to it and show everyone that hockey isn't the boring back and forth game that everyone thinks it is. If the sharks can have a pretty strong fan base then i think the sport can grow.

aww cmon man i don't sound that crazy do i? ok maybe its just because i got to meet him a few weeks ago, but i just think he's a lot better than what people give him credit for. I do want the younger guys to get chance though so i can see the other side of the argument.

this is getting downright crazy i wonder how bad these guys are gonna suck next year, they have nearly lost the whole third and fourth lines of the team and one of their important depth d-men. They have turned from a greatest hockey team of the year to the offseason laughing stock in just a matter of a few months. I won't be surprised if they lose niemi and start huet next year as many of you have suggested.

This one gives me chills, i just remember watching this with all of my buddies and giving high fives all around and jumping up and down and screaming. I hope this is a preview of next year!!!

That would be a killa third line if he signs and i hope he does. I just hope we don't lose any future depth players in the process and end up doing something stupid. I really don't think modano was any kind of a slouch when i came to hitting or going to dirty areas so if he is signed as a role player he wouldn't be a wimp, hell even hudler gets in there sometimes. I wouldn't worry about that line's lack of "grit".

Ladd is gone now too, it would appear to be a great "Chicago fire" sale. Thats 7 players from the main roster that are poof gone.

Yea someone asked him what he thought of crosby and he just laughed and said that everyone says hes a baby and dispite what he thinks of him and what we think of him hes still a good player.

I just got back from that and i must say he was a really nice guy and he basically said he thought crosby was a *****. I got two autographs from him one on a picture and one on my old red wings ball cap. Best day of my life.

I would never cheer for the wings if they moved and were a different team. There would be no way in hell unless it was to another city in Michigan then i would. I wouldn't care if the whole team changed with staff or players. I already stuck through the Bowman years and through the Lewis years and now the Babcock era, when the Yzerman crew all left and retired too (shanny,fedorov,Mac,yzerman,kozlov,larionov,etc. This team will always be my number one hobby ever and will be till the day i die or the team moves to another state.
