nothing would make me happier than to see Nick lift that cup maybe for the last time in his career and to see Bert give buttman the finger and lift the cup right in front of him. Actually I would like the whole team to give buttman the finger while celebrating. -
I watch every game at the local sports bars and bring my red wave playoff towel from 07 playoffs and wear my datsyuk winter classic jersey. And then carry a red wings lucky charm and kiss it for good luck before the game and grow my horrendous playoff beard, its very spotty and juvenile looking, even though im 21.

Just thought I would add for the game tonight that this is Zetterberg's 500th NHL game and coincidently it is Datsyuk's 600th game they are exactly 100 games apart from each other, kinda cool i guess.

That would be just hilarious if they blew it and we ended up getting the central division crown. I mean after the whole season of being leaps and bounds ahead of detroit and then lose it in the last few days of the season. not sayin it would happen but you never know.

All i know is that i wouldn't be watching it if it were the penguins and the caps. That's what the league wants screw them, its bull crap that they don't give their most valuable franchise a shot at it before double tapping the pens. I think the leafs should get a winter classic bid, that's where hockey started pens had their chance and won why give them another shot at it.

there are two players that wow me during a game ovi and pav. I watch these two guys and its like watching barry sanders(pav) and emmit smith(ovi) on skates. Except pav has won the cup and barry didn't(not barry's fault!)You just never know what will happen when they get the puck.

It's not jealousy its just a little thing called competitiveness. Wings are facing them tonight and it will be a good game we need the two points to go 4 up on the flamers. i thought it would be appropriate to have a little innocent jabbing at the opposition who we faced the last two times for the cup. -
I never really knew of this guy until we played him in 07 I was too young when he was at his peak.
