i like it, that it is in a football stadium. I never understand to put a hockey rink in a baseball stadium. Some seats are just far far far away.

I agree. When McCollum was drafted the board was thrilled but as we all know his development was - up to this point - not as expected. Sure he has time left to do better but this case shows, we should not be to sure that Mrazek or McCollum will find their way to the NHL. But i have to admit, i don`t know, which young Goalies are with us beside this two!? Pearce (not so young)?

can´t imagine. If we trade, we would/should look for a goal-scorer. Weiss has only scored 20 or more goals twice in his career. We have enough pass-players. Beside this, i do not like the idea of hank beeing traded.

Interesting to see. PS a little bit higher than last year. last season 27 and this season, after half the games played, 17. (btw: we have NO sh-goal this season and the Devils have nine ??? )

And: "Star-Goalies" like Miller, Bryz, (Brodeur) are way behind this stats. Half the season done. Winners&losers in the standings, winners&losers on the wings roster. was not Conks fault. The whole team missed the opportunity to win the game and beside this to create a better back-up situation with a backup with more confidence. Not sure how many consecutive starts Howard will get now but the situation could have been better after this game.

To start Conks is the right decision. We need a more balanced way to start Howard and Conklin. And after the way Conklin played the last two periods its the right desicion to start him again. Let`s hope Conks will continue to play well and Howard will get a little bit more rest.

All the time i watched hockey via internet, i think i never managed to watch an Islanders-Game. Make it a good start and get a win
