just back from the game...really really great ... considering i bought a ticket because of datsyuk, everything was perfect Danmark was not that bad but had no chance against that bunch of high skilled stars. And the russian Goalie made some nice saves I was a little bit suprised, that Malkin was playing too because i just had no idea, he would join the team. So many great players on one team, russia is my favorite for the title. Really a great game, but only about 5.000 people there to see it - a lot of empty seats but many russian fans celebrating took some pictures - tried to get most of Datsyuk ... (hope it is okay to include some here in this way, if not, please just let me know )

is think the development in germany in general is very good..we never had so many players in the nhl/minors before....but the event is so boring beacuse every year a world cup -> no excitement. I think "oh, another wc...yeah..i dont care. best players still in the NHL blabubb".. the olympics are different
