Well for starters he's more beefed up and so he's like stronger on his skates. Quite difficult to knock him off the puck. Having said that though it's cost him imo. It's slowed him down a step. Dunno if age is a factor or not but Zetterberg isn't as quick as he use to be but still one of the best 2 way forwards in the game right now imo. I also think every year he gets better in the defensive end (positioning wise). Now faceoffs these last 2 seasons I think we've seen a drop off from him maybe something to work on? There you go

Whatever the case Andrei Kostitsyn is drama ridden. I wouldn't mind though a trade for him involving Hudler as probably 75% of this board wouldn't mind as well. I apologize for bringing up Hudler's issues in this thread my fault

Really? Complaining about not having a girlfriend and saying I'm leaving to play in the KHL, then coming back. To me that's a degree of drama.

Can he be worst than Hudler though drama wise? I think not. But his 3.2 cap hit is the thing. But at least his numbers are good and paired with even better linemates could probably be better. I'd say to this is my 2 cents.

Game was good tonight vs Mexico. First half was awful second half was good. Klinsmann looked calmed and relax with being being quite humorous in his interviews. Overall a solid performance I think. Thoughts?

I still think they have our number. We need a top 6 forward badly. We'll see but I hate to say it but the Sharks still have the edge on us this year. I don't see us beating them AGAIN this playoffs unless and acquistion is made. My humble 2 cent opinion.

I just don't see us getting him. Everyone's right though about if the Devils aren't in a playoff position they might unload him. However as mentioned Lou has stated they are working on a long term deal. I would love to have him and having him on our roster would be EPIC. Our top 2 lines would be utterly imo unstoppable pending if we got Zach through a trade. I would almost give up anyone except Kronner and Helm but that's me

I agree with you on the first part. But what I meant on my part and maybe I should have been more exact is I don't see a trade happening with us until probably the trade deadline or thereabouts somewhere. I'm not sure either who can be invited to camp either. I'm pretty sure our roster is set for the most part (for now).

I would love to have him. Hated playing against him when I played at Culver and he played at Shattuck. Differences aside. I think he's a top player who would fit extremely well anywhere on our top 2 lines. Although Lou is saying they are working on a multi year deal as we speak, so highly unlikely but I guess not impossible....

Hahaha right on man! Klinsmann played for Tottenham? I didn't know that. I think Klinsmann is going to be given complete control of the USA under-17, 18 and 21 youth programs. Like everything. This should have happened awhile ago but I'm excited to see what he brings. Mexico friendly coming up should be good

yeah I don't think we would have won it with Ozzie in net that post-season. That Vancouver series was something else, and Hasek was huge against Colorado yes. Probably wouldn't have won anything without him in net.

Given the terrible crop of options this off season. B. Would be an A if somehow we made some sort of trades but I'm glad he's not trading the farm away so I'm pretty happy. I think our back end got a lot harder to play against especially compared to last year. I think everyone's counting on some forwards to make some noise in the scoring department this year and the in future.

I'm sure he will be his normal self this season so nothing serious I reckon. If this was Taxi Cabish I bet there would be more gossip about this out and about
