Anychance of iFlip getting a call up?
-
Hopefully he signs with Philly. He's probably going to take whatever Philly offers him which will be AROUND 3 million. Can't really see him asking for more than that though. Actually thinking about it now, AROUND 3 million sounds outrageous for Leino. Philly might not be able to keep him after all, depends if GM Holmgren makes any moves or not. 1.8 million for cap space next season is not a lot.

New Jersey's situation about to explode
St. Michael (the Red Wing) replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
That shootout attempt made Sportscenters top shootout blunders. Eaves' one was on the list. But Eaves isn't making a trillion dollars either. Hahah funny how New Jersey is so bad... -
I wouldn't want Iginla in the Winged Wheel in the first place. And then throw the numbers into the mix. It doesn't work now or in the future. And we aren't giving up Rafalski any time soon either. Ha..

Scott Gordon let go as Isle head coach
St. Michael (the Red Wing) replied to edicius's topic in General
Isles are bad. Really bad. More changes are needed imo. Starting at the top with Mr. Snow... -
I agree. But it sounds like he's got some offensive flair too? Whether that carries over into the pros is the question I suppose. That one video shown above he took care of himself in that fight. I like this kid...

That part. I like that. Would love to see a player like either of those 2 in the Winged Wheel. Sounds like Callahan could possible be joing us soon?
-
Dubinsky's move was awesome. Great play. Rangers team is decent this year....
-
I think he has decent size. He's played like nine or so games with the Montreal juniors and I believe has 6 points. 2g 3assists and 8 PIM with a plus + 2.
-
Interesting. But kinda early. Let's see what happens when we play some east teams 5 games or so. Actually surprised that we haven't played anyone from the east yet. That changes I think Nov 24th when we play the Thrashers.

Miller likely out and Eaves in againstColorado
St. Michael (the Red Wing) replied to a topic in General
Not surprised one bit what Babs said. -
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll see. Clearly 82 games or not. I've been a fan of this team since 91. First every game I saw was Redwings vs Sharks at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Watching a young Lidstrom and Fedorov (probably one of my all time favorite wings) was brillant. Followed this team ever since. I've watched a few 82 game seasons since then I think. (give me a cookie) The point is Hudler coped out when we needed him most. Wasn't a fan of him leaving for the KHL. Of course he was going to return at some point and when a player does your'e never quite the same. Hopefully I'm wrong about Huds. Maybe he can turn it around. However our depth system right now is pretty deep imo and if players aren't performing others should be given an opportunity. Not slagging anyone here or their opinion just posting mine.

Actually my point was Miller, Abs, Eaves and Helm paired with someone from the top 6. That's Hank, Dats, Homer, Flip, Franzen and I guess Bert. Also I won't think. It's Babs job to get a 2.8 million boy going not me. He's the coach. I'm a fan and poster on a forum.

Fourth line isn't suppose to score. Also I know jack s*** compared to Babs. Thanks. But if Hudler doesn't live up to expectations. I'll be talking with you in several months.
-
Yeah maybe not that specific play. Different players create different opportunites for teammates and themselves. It was a nice assist. Great. 2. whatever million and he's on average to have 20 points this season. Haha. Also love the fact of how s***ty you play you get promoted on this team. WTF...
-
He has looked a bit better the last 4 games or so. Still, defensively he's a bit weak which bothers me. Cleary has been a beast yes, which has helped Mikey imo. Really liked the Abs Modano Cleary line....
-
I agree with you that he could put of more points than Miller, Abs, Eaves and you forgot to mention Helm. However the fact is he isn't even producing. One assist tonight vs Edmonton. s*** Miller could have done that on the second line along with Eaves, Abs and Helm. Anyone else smelling trade. I really can't believe Babs thought Hudler could put up 60 points after playing a one year in the KHL. Playing there and then coming back, you aren't gonna put up big numnbers. I'll give Hudler some credit, he played okish tonight. However it was lowly Edmonton....
-
Haha. ^^^ On this thread. No comparison really. Flip is worth tenfold...
-
Not a fan of the video. Who tries out a stick like that? Haha...
-
I don't like the changes one bit. Hudler should be seeing the press box tbh. However against all teams to do this against at least it's against Edmonton. If we lose tonight against a lowly Edmonton team it's not gonna be good. This should be a no contest affair. Really want to see Hudler go bye bye...

Probably 97 playoffs. Federov led the team in the playoffs with 20 points. Wait, I think he had 20 points in the playoffs in 98 too...
-
Couldn't disagree more after the preseason. But if Kenny is saying it. Sure. Why not. 11 points in 12 games is good. Wanna see him paired with Lids...
-
This is brilliant cause it's so true. Well said...

Ericsson has looked pretty good the last couple of games. It seems his maturity as a nhler is growing. I like that. It helps his self confidence and his overall game. I see good things to come from in the future....
-
I ******* love him. My favorite Red Wings player at the moment. Love everything about the guy. One of the key pieces to the future of this team imo.
