It bugs me that people are being negative about our team already and we haven't even hit the ice yet. I think our team is borderline but who knows really? And all this hostility towards Holland I dont think he's the greatest GM ever. Who is the greatest GM ever? Ken Holland is the Detroit Red Wings GM OUR GM and yes he's going to take all the abuse whether people like him or not. I understand that. What I don't understand this offseason is some fans but ok. Nothing against all the gloom and doom but lets's see how this season goes. I'm actually excited to see what unfolds, if we suck we suck ok. But if we are good. Uh-oh look out. Table could swing either way for us Wings and fans. p.s. offseason isn't over yet either but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed for a big trade or anything

Robitaille played 2 seasons with the Wings and Hull 3. How are their numbers better on the Wings than Fedorov's I don't get it? You mean total career numbers? Fedorov was with the Wings for 12 seasons, longer than Hull, Shanahan, Robitaille and Murphy on the Wings. Fedorov no doubt was not the leader on the Wings Yzerman was obviously and for good reason.

Crymson brought up a good point about Fedorov holding out in 97-98. Totally forgot about that. Grudges aside Fedorov's numbers don't lie. For sure Fedorov is or will make the Hockey Hall of Fame at some point.

What was all said about the Wings being interested in Yandle since we already have speculated on this for awhile?

The sad thing is I see Ozzies name being hung up before Fedorov's when Fedorov has been just as important for the re-birth of our successful franchise starting in the early 90's. Nothing against Ozzie I cause I think he's deserves his name up there too IMO. Fedorov's only downfall is indeed the way we left bu oh well. People still holding a grudge to that? I'm not surprised.
