He might be able to make a difference in St. Louis. If let's say he went to Columbus as rumored, it would have been an hopeless journey. Good for Hitchcock

11/5 GDT: Ducks 0 at Red Wings 5

Brunnstrom should get a chance in the top 6. He wasn't amazing tonight but wasn't bad either. Looked much better tonight than during that Washington drubbing. Either way it helps to play games. AND KEEP BERTUZZI OUT FFS (meaning for f*** sake). -

Personally I think Anaheim took a night off. Either way we finally won. Thank f. -
good news tbh. I'm glad Bert is out proabably like a lot of people. Any word if Fab will dress then tonight?

For once blueadams, I agree with 100%. *Scratches head*

Who would you pick to have back on this team?
St. Michael (the Red Wing) replied to GongShow94's topic in General
Yeah Marian Hossa. Looking more and more like the letting Hossa walk and signing Franzen long term deal was a bad idea. I hate to say that but it's true. -
I rather have seen Kindl in there instead of Commors. But whatever. Doesn't really matter in the end now does it? Especially with the way this team is playing at the current moment. : (

Maybe we need some injuries this season. Like to Bertuzzi, Stuart and Franzen. Team needs a wake up call bad. What is it going to take boyz. What is it going to take -

Our PP has looked awful since game 1 of this season. No surprises people. -
Welcome to Big Leagues Gustav Nyquist!

Too bad indeed. -
I remember watching that first game of the season vs the Avs. Bummer loss, kinda hated them from the get go then we blew out either Edmonton or Winnipeg a couple games later, can't remember but yeah we didn't start the season off 5-0 then losing 5 straight. It was a back and forth tilt to start the 95-96 season. That season was funny with us blowing out Montreal 11-1 then them trading Roy to the Avs and what not happening in the playoffs to Draper. Bad memories lol

Celebrating with a member of the other team gets you a..

That was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Definitely brought some humor to the night -
I don't give a f*** what the lines are right now. People need to put the puck in the net. There were a load full of chances tonight and no finish work. 3rd and 4th lines whatever they are need to start contributing.

Season isn't over YET. Far from it, but it's not looking good early. And it's going to get harder this year further the season goes on.
-
Maybe, maybe not the thing is Parise is an UFA at the end of the season and if the Devils are stinking it up....AKA they are about as good as us right now it could definitely be an option. I hate to say this but maybe throw Helm in and Franzen for Parise? Yes I just said that
-
I would trade Frazen for Parise or something along those lines in a heartbeat tbh. Don't know if the Devils would though...

11/1 GDT: Wild 2 at Red Wings 1 (OT)

They didn't. Scoring only one goal doomed us. -
Yeah if he doesn't score the hat trick against us. We don't win Thursday night when do you push the panic button? People say like the member Crymson "oh it's only 9-10 games in" OK but there are points at stake, we are 500 hockey team as of now. We should be better than this especially after winnging 5 in a row. Now 5 in a row lost. lol. It's hard to make up points the further the season goes on. Long ways to go yes but I don't see us repeating the 09-10 season and hell that was because of injuries. lol. Not looking good, I'm really up for anything on the trade front.

f*** we scored only one goal AGAIN. Doesn't matter about our stupid penalities that we took and this and that. Not going to win many games scoring 1 goal in this league. Somethings gotta give. What the f*** boyz.... -

I have some answers to your questions although they might not be correct. 1) Babs likes to have Franzen taking faceoffs. Don't know what his win % is mind you. 2) Fip like a lot of others has cooled down considerably. Time to mix things up? I'm liking the third line tbh. 3) Good question he hasn't been good at all. 4) Emmerton hasn't played well since the Washington game when he's been in the lineup. Not bad but a couple of costly turnovers in that Washington game that probably made Babs cringeworthy. 5)Good question I guess it can't hurt too much at this point right?

I agree totally. I'm liking the line combos as of now with Nyquist on the second line. Super excited on playing the Wild tonight since my roommate and all his friends are going to be over our house tonight cause well they're Wild fans. -

Too bad for Huds being scratched. Look out for eva on suicide watch indeed. Guess that means Huds in the doghouse as of now. Sort of surprised Cleary wasn't the one scratched but oh well. Go Wings Go! We need a win come on BOYZ
