its pure entertainment, man. athletes are entertainers. im not a player, coach, manager, etc. I watch the games (sports in general) to be entertained. If i start popping blood vessels in my neck cuz the wings are losing, i would have serious issues (unless im betting serious money on them, which i dont).

well last year was zetterberg, franzen, filppula, cleary, and kronwall. Nah, those guys out are no big riff, right? Only 2 leading scorers, 2 2-way players, an offensive defenseman. while cleary didnt play well last year, he can still put the puck in the net. an entire power play unit not in the game? Pffttttt, who needs 'em. they overcame it. 2 leading scoreres out isnt going to be THAT detrimental. sure it'll suck, but oh well.

That was before my time as a wings fan. I wasn't even in kindergarten then. However I wish I could have beeen. Ever since I got into hockey, the wings have been great (early nineties) Being a spoiled fan sucks cuz everything is taken for granted

i remember when the season first started, flip had like 890 shots per game. then for some reason, he quit shooting. now im not saying they were 100% quality shots, but you put the puck at the net and things happen. i'd love to see eaves line w/ flip

if he's out until jan 22, that'll be 15 games. Just like our december stretch, its basically a game every other night and they have 4 back to backs (including last night/tonights). they have games the 10th and 14th of january, so thats 3 days of rest between those. hope for the best.

ive tried to make it a point to watch draper a couple times he's been in. IMO he looked pretty good. lots of hustle and hard work

this could be ugly. hopefully it'll be like the wings were last year when they had the injuries. they'd beat the teams we expected them to lose to, and lost to teams like the islanders Hope they win, but im not betting on it
