i agree 100%. But when people are like "god hudler sucks, why did he have to come back?" umm.... its been 4 games. not everyone can be a super star every night of the week. Even Michael Jordan had his bad days.

Its easy to bash athletes, im the first to do it when they do something completely outrageous, but a lot of them really are good people and help out the community, sick kids, etc. its awesome. I remember when hasek had his own suite and would let children w/ cancer go to his suite to watch the games. and that story last night on the bears/packers game w/ that little girl that got to go hang out w/ the packers and meet her favorite players....... thats cool I wish more stories like that would get out... makes you appreciate that player that much more IMO.

Not sure if its just because its preseason or what, but the names on the backs of the jerseys (or sweaters if you will) are straight across and are more of a blocky type of font. They are usual more of a rounded type of font and are not straight on the back, but rather curved a bit....

i came in here to post that one. From the start they were down 2-0, and i was like "f***, here we go again. another sloppy game. ugh" then bam, 5 unanswered goals in the 2nd period. then the hawks came back w/ 2 in the third, just enough to make me go "f***, another blown lead, and 3 goals at that?" but nope, they won

IMO, to say they aren't hungry is a slap in the face. Why do they play? To win. I play a lot of golf. I don't golf just to play, I golf to win. Just because I've won 8 tournaments in a row, doesn't mean I don't care and wont try in the next tournament. As an athlete, we (competitive people) are driven to win and compete, not loaf around just to earn a paycheck.

The wings have had every opportunity to win. You can't go blaming anyone but them. They still have 10 mins to win

The wings will be fine next year. dead weight like williams will be gone, a few other players wont make the cut (meech, lebda, etc), and we'll throw in some fresh faces (like we did w/ eaves and miller, good filler guys that dont make too many mistakes). Our core is there (dats, zetterberg, etc). We'll be fine.
