Haha I was reading over this thread...actually kind of funny. The jealousy is hilarious. You aren't as domimant as you once were and now you are getting angry about it. You refuse to accept the fact that anyone in the NHL can be equal to the divine REd WIngs. Habs? 24 cups? No, the Red Wings are better. It's nourishing to me how much you guy want Pittsburgh to lose. Either way, I'm proud of the Pens. We play hard, we do contracts correctly. We might lose in seven to a team that also upset the President's Trophy winners, but at least we didn't lose in 5 to the biggest choke-artists of all time.

Craig Adams and Mike Rupp are simply role players who don't hit dirty at all. Have you ever watched the Penguins play or are you just naming everyone on the Pens that is somewhat gritty. P.S. Kronwall leaves his feet for every hit and dont get me started about Bertuzzi. The "dirty" argument is comically faulty.

Cooke doesn't ever leave his feet and most of his questionable hits are with the actual bicep area. Watch the Savard hit. NOT an elbow. Kronwall leaves his feet everytime he hits.

Guerin got pushed into Howard...whatever, reffing is always the same when we play Detroit..gotta get used to it. Either way, Pens aren't going anywhere this year. Fleury is god-awful.

I am really glad that Pens fans don't chant Ovechkin sucks or Datsyuk sucks. The Crosby sucks chant comes off as classless and kinda stupid. Come on, you guys are much classier than Philly!

The NHL is is totally inconsistent, yes. But I think the same thing would have been done for Datsyuk or Zetterberg. Don't forget about the line brawl at the end of the game during the Ducks Wings Series where no one was suspended. There is an obvious double standard. Lapierre got 4 games for a very, very similiar hit. I have a feeling things will be better next year when there are penalties for headshots and blindsides.

Yeah it was Lapierre of the Canadians. And I think there is a rule that if someone gets 2 major boarding calls in season, they are automatically suspended one game. And OVy already has a major boarding call this year for that hit on Kaleta.
