Phoenix is in the West, Winnipeg is in the West. Nothing changes. You might have to re-structure the divisions though. It wouldn't make much sense to have Dallas and Winnipeg in the pacific division....

I'm not sure what to think. People seem to have this idea that if Phoenix loses tonight we will get the Winnipeg Jets back. That's not necessarily true at all. Of course the Canadian media is pimping this idea beyond belief. Jets are good for ratings and newspapers. Who the heck would buy a paper with the headline "Coyotes are staying!"? I'm just afraid they are setting us up for more disappointment.

I also forgot to mention that Getzlaf is 14th despite missing 15 games this season due to injury. Had he been healthy he would have probably joined the top 10 with Perry and Selanne. So yeah....no thanks.

I'd change the title of this thread to "Why I don't want to play Anaheim in the first round". 8 wins in their last 10 without their #1 goalie. Perry is looking like he could win the Rocket Richard and 40 year old Selanne is one point behind Zetterberg in points. Not to mention: Ryan Getzlaf (14th in pts) Bobby Ryan (22nd in pts) Lubomir Visnovsky (29th in pts) In total 5 of the top 30 point leaders in the NHL are Anaheim Ducks. I hope they keep winning and face Phoenix or something because this is not an opponent you want to face in the first round.

I'm not surprised. Kessel isn't even the best player on his team. Grabovski and MacArthur have been outplaying him pretty much all season long. Phil got in on name power alone.

We accidentally broke into the Corel Centre in Ottawa a few years ago. I think it's the ScotiaBank place now or whatever. Some rich dude in a suit used his card to get in and he kept the door open for us. We practically got a free view of the entire facility. I don't think Giguere has even made up his mind yet. One day he sounds like he wants to leave and the next day he mentions how much he loves Toronto. Just 2 days ago he said "I like playing here, I love wearing the white and blue." I think Giguere is hoping he could put together a decent 2nd half and make burke consider re-signing him to something like 2mil. Re-signing Giguere didn't look likely, but with Gustavsson drowning on them they might want to consider it.

The guy still has 45 points in 46 games. If he can produce at a point per game pace during a "bad season" that's pretty damn good in my opinion. Most players who develop "Lazy Russian Syndrome" just roll over and die, but to his credit it's not THAT bad!

To get a true understanding of why my name is Puffy we would have to go all the way back to time of Moses. The year was ???? BC and Moses hired me to build him a time machine. His dream was to visit Mount Sinai in the year 1900 and warn people about all the troubles we were about to face. Unfortunately I was high at the time and I sent him to 2020 by accident. When he realized that Mount Sinai was now called "Brokeback Mount Sinai" he decided to investigate. He died of cardiac arrest shortly after. Whoops.
