Meh. I really didn't think that they played poorly. We came out with a jump and had some great chances all game. Ward played great because he had to. It was pretty much a case of a playoff bubble team versus a division winner.

Kind of a "meh" game. I thought the Wings played pretty well overall. Howard was tight and I thought the offense and defense were pretty good. We just seem to have an issue with solving Rinne. Boy, that first period was rough. The Preds were getting a tad dirty there. I'm just thankful that (for now) no reported injuries occurred on our end. I thought for sure the Lids, Clearly, and Eaves were all going to be gone after what happened with them. I'm actually kind of glad that Pav didn't play just for the fact that he could have been seriously injured considering how hard the Preds were playing. But you knew that they were a desperate team facing off against a team that's not so desperate. I actually expecting a walloping but we hung in there the entire game.
