I'm really getting tired of steaming out-of-market NHL games on my computer. I really want to watch them on my larger TVs. The problem is that I have AT&T UVerse. It appears that the only option with that provider is getting the NHL Network channel. But that channel is crap and rarely shows anything of worth. Is there any option for me? or am I screwed unless I switch to a different provider?

Well, the reason why I questioning the service is because I like to watch other teams play to keep up on what's going on around the league.

Toews is knocked out of the St. Louis game with an "upper body injury". Judging by the hit, probably his shoulder. Update: Brouwer went to the dressing room after blocking a shot off his foot.

Goddammit. January is going to be rough month.

Despite netting 4 goals, it was a pretty boring game. Ah well.

I think that last night's game was a good example of how this injury will effect the team. I think that we'll be a lot of close games, but we are going to be able to pull through. Last night, the Wings could have easily given up and let Vancouver walk all over us. Honestly, I actually expected the Canucks to do that. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Wings battling for the remainder of the game despite falling behind twice after Dat's injury.

With the 2011 Winter Classic quickly approaching and the 2012 teams being announced in the next few months, I thought it would be fun to try and predict which teams they are going to select. In my opinion, I think that the Rangers are a lock for it. I also think that they are going to still leave the Canadian teams out of it. My guesses are: Rangers vs. Blues Rangers vs. Islanders Rangers vs. Detroit

Quick stood on his head. What are you going to do? I'm mean, besides the last 10-15 minutes, the Wings really took it to LA. For a while, it was a really interesting game. Ah well, still got a good lead in the West.

My guess is that he's coming back to the NHL. My money is on the Capitals seriously taking a look at'em.

I actually don't mind that Isles jersey.

I thought that they wanted to keep the Winter Classic between teams that actually experience winter weather. I doubt any West Coast/Southern US Teams will be in it. The next time Detroit gets in it, I'm guessing they'll host it at Comerica.
