  1. Damn this sucks. I loved your streams. Now how am I supposed to watch wings games during a boring chemistry lecture?

As a 25 year old who never went to college and kicked ass as a 10th grader in AP chemistry, I am really jealous, I should probably go back to school and relearn that s***, i know I'd find it anything but boring.

    Hockey nerrrrds. cool.gif

I'm sorry to hear about this. I've been very thankful of your site ever since I started experiencing problems with drumnj's stream. There's no way for me to be able to afford the channels needed for watching NHL here.

Thank you for everything. It was great while it lasted.

I will exaclty echo this. I started lagging out terribly while watching drumnj's streams. Never had a problem before a few months ago, so i've been using your stream the last while. Could never afford to pay for cable, especially because I would only use it just to watch the occasional hockey game Thanks, was great while it lasted, have fun with the little poop machine blush.gif

  2. Welcome to the board Big Bear!

I too have some dork stories about growing up in Muskegon. I unfortunately went to Fruitport instead of Mona Shores so my school didn't have s*** in terms of hockey.

I remember being at a drop in hockey my freshman year, same graduating year as Abdelkader and him being on the ice. I never talked to him though I remember him showing up everyone on the ice and me and the rest of our friends leaving early because the skill level was completely unfair. My friend Chris however can say he stopped him on a breakaway that day. HAHA. This was shortly before he won state with Mona Shores and left to play for Cedar Rapids in the USHL.

While filming a pre-season game for the Muskegon Lumberjacks at the Joe I did get to creeper status stand right next to him while I was working a camera and our broadcaster talked to him. I almost said something but then stifled myself because it probably would have ended something like this:

Yo man, im from Muskegon too... Ok, bye.

    damn I am so awkward.

I do fully rep the fact that he is a Red Wing from our small hometown. HELL YEAH BOYS!

I often find myself completely jealous that someone from my same town, same age, same opportunities is making fat bank travelling the world playing hockey, while I am a fat slob living on a bridge card to feed myself. haha.

  3. I just got offered a ticket behind the players benches 3 rows from the glass for $40 which included my share of gas from Muskegon, from a group of 3 guys I know. Sadly I am saving every last cent to put a wood stove in my living room for this winter. Im so goddamn poor these days. Bet that game would be badass too see. When reading the roster seeing #5 #13 #40 all on one team I was like WTF?

Is this going to be televised? RWL.NET perhaps? crossing my fingers!

  4. Thanks for scoring a goal, Thanks for every single one of those 401 wins, thanks for hoisting 2 stanley cups and backing vernon for another, thanks for fighting Roy, thanks for holding strong and nearly getting a 4th cup and probably a Conn Smythe. Great Career, you always made watching games as a little kid that much more exciting.

  5. Being a huge fan of nearly every Swedish player in the league Vancouver is by no means my second favorite team, but like you said I have no reason to hate them.

If Detroit can't manage the finals I wouldn't mind a new team win it...

I will admit I get pretty tired playing against the Canucks like 90% of the time I play online NHL11 (on xbox, obviously, you poor poor PS3 players)

  6. Damn Al Sobotka with the octopus would RULE to wear basically everyday anywhere!

Are these sweatshop free or american made shirts? I really can't ever see me purchasing a shirt for $20 no matter how cool of a design was screened on it if its not.

    *edit

American Apparel, my the wonders of taking a second to read a few posts above you does eh?

    :)

  7. how do you spell 3rd period collapse? r-e-d-w-i-n-g-s

Man that was so dissapointing. Ericsson was looking pretty awful there. I could not believe we threw that point away.

Perhaps if Hudler and Berts shootout shots were a half an inch to the left I wouldn't be so distraught on this game, but man. I am not having a whole lot of Stanley Cup hopes this year if we can't fix the basic problem of we HAVE to score 5 goals to win a game. That much weight should not be put upon the forwards.
