I am not sure whether our play is inconsistent but it is clear that the Wings' special team has been very up and down. The Wings pp has been atrocious tonight and it is not a good sign for sure.

Although I think Ovechkin is better than Crosby, Crosby has more different styles of hockey. Not underestimating what the Caps have done in this regular season but it is quite obvious the Caps were in the weakest division so it was easy for them to get many points. Besides, I have been doubting Mike Green's ability on D zone and I am allowed to say I am right. The guy can put up points but he cannot do his real role as the defense.

I was pessimistic before the game but the Wings in tonight was surely the form of 2008 Champion team. Hopefully the Wings play great against the Sharks. Go Wings !

Well, we played good but can we say it is a good period? No. You should score when you play good. The Yotes were outplayed by us in this period but we did not score. If the Wings do not come out with the same heart, it would be another typical Wings-Yotes game.

The fact no Doan in the Yotes may be the advantage but that means not huge. The Wings just got outplayed by the Yotes several times in this series without Doan and the Wings' inconsistent effort can cause their first round exit tonight. I want to be positive as much as possible but I think the Yotes have better shots to go to the second round. The only thing I can expect in my head now is Howard being yesterday's Halak and finally our players play their best tonight.

I am not going to be shocked if the Wings lose today. They let the Coyotes took the momentum of the series and showed the inconsistent effort throughout the entire series. Still, I am going to be happy with the Wings' win tonight but the chance is half and half. I think it will not even close game. One team will outplay the another. Hopefully the Wings finally show up today.

I am going to be honest; I want the Wings to win tomorrow but I think the chance is not much. I hope the Wings prove I am wrong but since the Yotes stole the momentum in game 5 and it is in Pheonix, all the pressure would be on the Wings. I do not see the Wings ever outplayed the Yotes in this series excpet for game 4. The win in game 2 was both defenses were terrible and the win in game 5 was the Wings woke up in the late 3rd period and we surely got lucky. Although the Coytoes did not win some games, they were looking hungrier than us for the entire series. If the Wings do not win, the blame should be on themselves.

First, I thought the Wings would not go deep in the playoff this year. The super hot play at the end of the season might raise our expectation but since our D has not been any good, especially Rafalski and Kronwall, I still could not see a chance of long run. And our weak faceoff has been causing the loss in this series so far. And I agree with you. The team is actually showing no effort throughout the series. Although we are going to game 7, the Yotes were always hungrier than us in most of the series. If the Yotes win this series, they deserve it. The Wings in last two years have shown no heart in their games. Maybe the last year's long run despite the horrible defense throughout the year was candleight before it would be blown by the wind. Regardless where our run stops in this playoff, I think our glorious day would be over this season. I would like to see some changes in the roster. Especially some new blood. I am not sure I am right but I think our veterans are showing no heart anymore except for Lidstrom.

Well, I am not gonna be bothered to see whether the Wings lose or win. But I am with the one guy and believes the Wings cannot have Lidstrom next year. He may be able to play but since the age looks to catch him a bit now, I think this will be the last season to be with Nick. Further, we found Howard, Abdelkader, and Miller can play in this team for the future and I am satisfied how much we have done so far. Still, I hope the Wings pull the win in Pheonix and hopefully we can have a long run this year too
