Well I agree with you on wishing we had the Ozzie of 08-09 going right now but with the way things went for him this year its just too late for him... Like it or not its all Howard or nothing now... 11 goals in 3 games just isn't good enough... rookie or not that is very average and if you expect to win the cup Howie CANNOT be average with the D in front of him right now. He's gonna have to steal a game if we are gonna come back and take this series...

Is it just me or does Howie always seem to give up that "next goal"?

Good post and I agree with everything accept that giving up 11 goals in 3 games by a grind it out Yotes offense is unacceptable even for a rookie netminder like Howie...

I WOULD like to have the Osgood of the last two runs in the net but he hasn't been that all season Hossa4Life... and Game 3 is not the time to see if he is going to be ready or not so I guess were stuck hoping Jimmy steps it up...

I just don't see anyway Osgood can come in and things be any better with the year he's had and the way the D is playing right now. I agree with wishing ozzie would have got more playing time but to me it seemed like there was no other choice the way things went this season...

You CANNOT blame Babs for not playing Ozzie this year he had NO choice, to say that is ridiculous.. We needed the points just to get here and you were not going to get them by throwing OZZIE out there this season just to get "warmed" up for the playoffs... But in saying that its because of that we unfortunately can't go with anyone else but Howie right now... Its just been a weird year overall Howie really needs to come up big Tuesday GO WINGS!!!

The Wings to me are still the better team... When the Wings Forecheck and work like they did the second half of game 2 they will win... they didn't come close to doing that 2day, the Yotes outworked and out shifted them all game. They just have to be the WINGS and out work the Yotes Tuesday or this series is over... 3-1 is death 4 us

We are now stuck with Howie... Ozzie hasn't played at all this year and CANNOT go with him unfortunately because of that... The defense has to step up big time which is hard and puts a lot more pressure on the team as a whole because I think Jimmy is kind of showing himself for the fraud he is right now. 11 goals in 3 games against an offensively challenged Yotes team is UNACCEPTABLE

You cannot play Ozzy at this point because Babcock had no other choice but to make his bed with Jimmy because of the way things panned out this year for the team. Coach has no choice but to stick with Howie from now on.... But a GAA of above 4.00 is NOT acceptable... I keep hearing about how he's the FRANCHISE goalie? At this point I think this is what your pretty much going to from Jimmy Howard now and into the future, Sorry but to me he is very average... Manny Legace average... But I'm really hoping that I'm wrong about Howie, GO WINGS!!! Have to have game 4 now! ha funny I always get the same feeling as well

I think the main reason might be all the inexperience you've got this year in the net... What aren't there like 5 tenders who are either rookies or have never started a playoff game this year?
