lidstrom has spent a total of 3 minutes and 40 seconds on the pk so far in these playoffs and we have given up something like 10 or 11 pp goals in 7 games. during the season he was #3 in terms of pk ice time behind stuart and kronwall. of course our pk sucked then too so... the bottom line is that babcock either knows something we don't or he has a screw loose.

definitely but... i think it has more to do with the fact that the wings just aren't that good any more. the sharks aren't some playoff powerhouse that we should be measuring ourselves up against. unless of course they win it all...

in this video we have Will representing realistic red wings fans who aren't blinded by their love for the team and can admit the truth when they see it. we also have Carlton who represents the optimistic homer fans who think being a "true fan" means you can't criticise the team at all and you most definitely cannot admit that they just aren't as good as they used to be. lastly, the clown represents the red wings and "ernie" is our chance of winning the stanley cup this year.

i understand what you guys are saying. i would've wondered myself if i had watched it on NBC. edit: i just watched the nbc replay. i see what you guys are saying. it definitely looked sketchy.

anyone who watched the game on TSN knows the puck never went in. TSN showed many replays of the play during the game, none of which showed the puck going in the net.

ah ok but, how do you watch the majority of the regular season games then (the games that aren't on us national tv)? originally when you said it's not being televised i thought you meant on fsd. ok that's what i thought.

that's just embarrassing is what that is. i feel bad for true hockey fans in the us. let me guess... you guys will have college baseball on instead. why isn't fsd carrying the games? the nhl network said game one will be on cbc. not sure about the rest of the series.
