yeah.. most likely a one gamer. not that big of a deal though.

not that close

+1 now that you've explained it, this whole thing sounds rather appropriate (and kinda awesome).

yup so do i man but having watched all 81 games so far i really doubt it true enough but i just don't think the wings are that kind of team. we're a team that wins because we were supposed to win. we're not going to "oiler" anyone.
-
i think you should accept the fact that this just isn't a good team. at least not good enough to win the cup.

that would be excuse #72

actually we have... october: regulation: 5-2 OT: 1-0 SO: 0-1 november: regulation: 8-2 OT: 2-1 SO: 0-0 december: regulation: 6-5 OT: 2-3 SO: 0-0 january: regulation: 2-4 OT: 2-0 SO: 2-1 february: regulation: 7-5 OT: 0-0 SO: 2-0 march: regulation: 4-5 OT: 1-2 SO: 0-2 april: regulation: 1-1 OT: 1-0 SO: 0-0 so, since december the wings' record in regulation is 20-20, and in OT 6-5 and in SO's 4-3. can you say mediocre?

i agree that it's not a conspiracy (it can't be, right? ) but, my point was that in order for the war room to say it's a good goal (because hossa either didn't "kick" the puck in, or that he touched it with his stick after the kick) the puck itself should be in the net. so, forget about whether or not he kicked the puck (which he obviously did), or whether or not he touched it after the kick (of which there is no clear proof), show me evidence that the puck completely crossed the goal line. shouldn't that be the first thing they look at? to see if the puck actually went into the net. but i do agree that some people here probably hate this call 10X as much as they normally would just because it was a 'hawks goal.
-
yeah, that and the fact that the puck um... you know, went IN on our play.

yandle is 6th on his own team in SH TOI. how can a guy win the norris if he barely kills penalties? edit: also, he is 10th in SH TOI/gm

with our MVP in the lineup: 34-13-6 .698 pt% with our MVP out of the lineup: 12-10-4 .538 pt%

true because they haven't done much in the playoffs the last couple of seasons. this will likely change this year.
-
they're not playing THAT hard. they're just plain good, that's all.

hearing stuff like that from the players doesn't make me feel good at all. i'd rather hear mike ilitch say something like: "you guys aren't getting paid for this game", or something to that extent.

the word is literally in front of you i kid, i kid

sadly, this is true. unfortunately no one here wants to admit it because of the consequences...
-
aaaaaaaaand.... the extra point is good!

c'mon guys... the wings give up one lousy touchdown and we're all freaking out?
