did anyone else see crosby say "let's go" at the end there when they were standing around? you couldn't hear it but you could read his lips. i was wondering why the pens were just standing around and watching the caps celebrate. and then sid said let's go and they went off the ice. i think they got fed up with the caps celebrating and decided to leave. did anyone else see this or am i just imagining things?

i think he meant when he's out on the ice he's practically a fourth forward edit: as far as why some of these other guys aren't being talked about for the norris so far this season could be partly due to the fact that the norris is a bit of a reputation trophy. usually it's not enough to have one great season and be considered for the norris unless you are by far clearly the best defenceman in the league. the other thing is stats don't tell the whole story. take for example fillpula; a lot of people here don't like him much because they think he should score more points, neglecting his great positioning and defence.

good to see rafalski step up and have a good game overall (although he was a bit shaky at times) after that debacle on sunday. now if he could just play this way every game...

i'd like to see the wings do this with rafalski. he can play wing even strength and the point on the pp. he'd feel right at home playing on the wing seeing as how he spends the majority of his time on ice deep in the offensive zone. the only problem is he is slow as molasses. maybe when there is a rush going the other way he could skate to our bench and have another player join the play and catch up for him. it would be faster that way.

i wish i could give you +1000 for this post, especially that last line. I've felt this way for at least a year, maybe year and a half. For those defending rafalski, saying it's only one bad game, he's not so bad, etc., soon enough you will realise that the people saying he flat out sucks as a defenceman and is overpaid were in fact right all along. bench him for a few games and put kindl in. he can't do any worse.
