Sad but true. I have been going to Wings games for years and as a kid I would listen to people around me more than really watch at the time and the bulk of them would have the accents with "out" and "about" or aboot, what have you. I mean being that the Joe is across the river from Windsor, it doesn't shock me all that much that native Canadians would attend. Further south and west you go, it is just not something that has struck people as interesting enough. Some of it has to do with the fact that this is a junior tourney and a lot of the not so regular hockey fans couldn't care less or would rather watch football. I can tell you that during the Olympics people were glued whether they liked hockey or not. More of it has to do with it being players people just don't know.

Not at all man. Woodchuck is excellent. There is like 6% alc in it too so not only tastes good but has a "get drunk quicker" addition with it. I am just SHOCKED! that a thread titled Keating is lazy and sucks (with hints of Murph tossed in) has derailed to beer. Just utter thread mockery!!!!!

Sportsk has always looked the most legit to me with a pretty good price to go with it. Jerseys are hardly a thing to get all butthurt about. Whatever you spend your $ on to wear during a hockey season is all on you.

It would be nice to get one in FA or the draft at some point (maybe Callahan). We all know Wings go for skill way at the top of the list.

EXACTLY. This is where I get allll of my hockey news too and laughs for the day. My buddies are shocked how quickly I get them the news. Especially the free agent thread in the offseason. Since getting the computer fixed I just don't know what the hell I did without this amazing site. Probably productive things at work.

Don't have the time to thumb through because I am sure it was already brought up but... I think we should invoke a rule that if you state a player sucks and then goes on to net 2 goals and consequently the GWG you should be allowed to take John Keating's job for the next game. No.....really. Please. HAHA... people finding a way to complain about wins. I know I know. I do forget where I am reading sometimes. But to see Draper and Helm have a real strong showing last night is a huuuuuge + in my book. Helm HAD to get a goal at some point with the performance last night. Win's a win sheesh.
