Really can't wait til October to spread the sheer love of mine that is Red Wings hockey to my beautiful fiance, also a love I swear (note: she is still around after 2 consecutive beard growings, makes me look homeless as s***) Cannot believe there is a girl out there that would have their whole wedding party in Wings gear. I am trying mask mine with getting red ties and red dresses but its not flying so far. Wish me luck.... -

Agreed and That was the season I was speaking of. My bad for the mis-understanding. Hank did miss 7 games due to injury and Pav put up 5 more points that season but with the missed games who's to say the output. Iggy, Malkin, and Ovie were the nominees that season and I guess in retrospect with those names it would have been tough but I can't see why not at least a nod to a nominee if Ovie is such an obvious choice that year.

Never really considered this guy in the realm of possibility, especially after the Modo signing. Not losing sleep over it but wouldn't have minded him put into the 4th line with Abby/Helm and Eaves. Oh well.

Good points. And I never really stated the nominating of Naslund was wrong, was simply saying that Hank should have had a nomination in the last few years. Agreed that the talent that Hank has had on his lines compared to Naslund is pretty obvious which is where I will say the points are noted to you but again in the last few years Hank should have had a nomination tossed his way. But...Hank fan boy guilty as charged.

The nominating system is skewed. Hank should probably have 1 nomination for the Hart trophy to his credit. Most VALUABLE player. I am going to lean towards without Hank, things wouldn't go so well.

link Was talking to my buddy yesterday and he said this is huge no-no for obvious purposes. Was just wondering what everyone's take on this one was. I personally think this is a tad classless and funny all at the same time considering where he came from but just seeing what the overall conception is. EDIT: At work...most awesome mis-post ever!

Certainly never painted him as a scrub but, what has he shown to be ultra impressive aside from having an immensely stacked team lined up in front of him? It is all to be seen where his career goes from here but I don't see it being much.

Don't have any damn cable right now. But I have watched the best of the 08 Finals quite a few times and have this on dvd already sooo actually don't need to see it now that I continued to type. Just hope we are watching "Raise the Cup" edition from the '11 title this time next year

She absolutely is in love with Howard lol. But she is also the worst luck when going to games. We went to 3 games this year and all 3 were losses. 2 of which were shutouts!!! She also went during the injury plague of last year when Lebda was on the 2nd pairing . Either way, fear not, the girl is Wingaholic but she will not be at the Joe for a little while -
