It is damn laughable actually how much hate 2 of our most important pieces in the back end received last year (Jimmy and Stuie). Hearing it from fans at the actual games just crack me up. 1 goal and its 'Where's Ozzie?' when I went to the Flames game day after Thanksgiving and it was 'Where's Jimmy?' Just good old Hockeytown and the great never ending goalie bashing.

Don't really understand either hate. But a little more towards Raffy. Stuie at the beginning of the year was our most consistent defenseman not named Lidstrom and really stopped about 5 or 6 goals right on the red line if I remember correctly. His presence of mind on the ice and ability to just knock guys on their ass just adds to his importance. Stuie haters....get a clue.

WOULD NEVER! He is a fine young man and could run for Prime Minister of the great north lands of the north we call...CANADA. Lucic is an all around good player and wish the Wings would get a guy just like him. We need that kind of force out there (who fights here and there and wins some )

Didn't neg ya there btw. I have my opinion on this "discussion" board and you have your's. Not totally against what you are saying seeing how Lucic is not a "fighter" per se. With his scraps I would say he more or less is spotty too. I will take a mulligan on that one and go with Rob Ray. LOL whatever man, just saying though, take your sympathies for my choices of fighter and use it on some other poster.

That's the 90's.... Argument is really things sure aren't like they were in the 70's or even early 80's. Those guys would in fact be dead as they stand on the ice for pulling this stuff. It is definitely something that needs to change. The floppers and "agitators" as you call them are growing by leaps and bounds and its nauseating.
