Yep and during the regular season when Carcillo was on these 1st and 2nd lines they were pretty far out the playoff hunt and were most of the year too. I realize they came close but that Eastern Conference is a crap shoot no matter how you slice it so I don't really hear those comparisons too much with Philly and u s. Not knocking them just simply sayin'....

Very important part of the post right there. I understand he is decent. But lets be rational here when we have guys like Helm, Clears, Huds now, or Bert who are way better 3rd line options. Like a poster had said before, maybe during our injury plague he makes it there but not any other chance at it outside of that.

If we are putting Carcillo on our 3rd line.... We are in a lot more trouble than I thought we were. Which we aren't btw but people who think he makes it to the 3rd line are looney.

With Jimmy on the rise and Ozzie mentoring these last couple of years has been quite invaluable. Will always be a huge Ozzie fan and supporter. Never really understood the haters but its tough to be a goalie in this town so thats just the way it goes. Either way, lets get him 1 more and hope he can be a more than solid backup for Jimmy this year.

Yes this team that is battling for the playoffs which we thought would be out by like 10 games by now is sure not doing it for me either ... Fun Tigers team to watch plus Comerica is just too fun to go to. Watching Boesch just defy all logic too has been just a blast so far. Working on the new house, painting, spackling, cleaning, yard work, Red Wings man cave development. It's all keeping me busy but it doesn't hack into the time I spend on LGW while at work pondering the roster moves, 10-11 season, and all out obsession with all things Red Wings. Hockey please....
