As it has been said, 3 years in a row to a Cup final? Raising the bar a bit high there fellas. I realize this is Hockeytown and its Cups or bust. But we have a very solid foundation in place and I think Jimmy will just get better and more regular season tested as we go this year. We were playing big games all year and every night get the team on the other side's best playing against the winged wheel. No real predictions but I can definitely see a good end to this year. We are a top 3 team and that is still without the addition of this unnamed player or players.

Yeah, been hearing this one for quite some time and wouldn't even doubt if it happens. There will be a shared arena down the road here which I hate. I don't mind the Pistons downtown one bit but I really truly think the Wings need their own, updated, Olympia looking hockey barn. Old time team needs their own old time arena again.

Born and raised in southeast MI and still here to this day. Have always and will always love the Red Wings. It is very tough to even think of a single reason that would make not like them anymore. There may be only one and thats if the team just all of a sudden disappeared off the face of the earth. And that's even a stretch.

I say Abby for sure. Once he gets the technique down and starts ditchin the shield more, he will take on the role whole heartedly. He is definitely a s*** starter and can hold his own.
