Burkie is good for "stealing" Wings' "talent".

Praise Jesusberg!!!!!!

that's presumptive the true one maybe: who wasn't at the end of this season?

Well keep the motivational posts for Coke guys. That was by far one of the better pitching performances of the year by any Tigers' starter, especially given the lineup he had to face and conditions. We will see what happens, but I am still with all of you with him going back to the pen to be that lefty specialist that is always needed. He could potentially be the best in the bigs in that actual role. Great start Cokie Monster!!!!!

Marleau always loses to Thornton. At least that's the word on the streets of London, ON

More scary that he gets better and better every single damn year. Scary good maybe. Regardless, Hank has regressed a bit in my opinion mainly because of a nagging back injury but he still controls the puck and back checks like a damn monster. Nick will be sadly gone here in the next little bit. Tatar, Smith, Nyquist, and Pulkkinen are the dudes that have to take the torch. I have confidence in this organization to figure it out and make some splashes in the draft to secure our spot for the next 10-15 years or so, hopefully. As we have stated with the way the NHL is now, we really have to pin our hopes on these kids in the A to get it done for us. Regardless, I am not at all worried about the competitive aspect of this team, that shall always be there. Cup contenders? That just may change, I really don't know. Seems we might have our goalie now though. I use might quite strongly here.

For sure... Well, this series has become what we kind of all thought it would be. That was the game that probably unhinged Antti's confidence he may or may have not had. We shall see if the Chokes continue their best Buffalo Bills (though they at least made the big game) impression of the past decade. I for one hoped both teams disintegrated into nothing past this series but have definitely gained an awful lot of respect for the Nucks also. It really comes down to a battle of conscience. GO EASTERN CONFERENCE TEAM!

That is not just you and you should win the Internet basically. Totally true. Sid is spectacular and a douchenozzle as well, but let's not forget who we have playing for our very own team. Pav's game went to some kind of unearthly level this year.
-
I think people have definitely forgotten this fact. I realize we are trying to hold him to standards he absolutely won't reach but I do not ever want to see him back on this team. 2 million? I mean, really?
-
the answer is he wasn't terrible. next question?

G.T.F.O..... So what exactly is your rationale here?? Hard working players that gut it out and command respect from the locker room and the coach don't belong? Ahh, I finally understand your first post now..... Actually wtf is going on??? More Cleary hate? Don't you ever steal this award away from Bertuzzi or Happy Huds from this offseason. Truthfully, you saying you watched EVERY single game makes your "opinions" seem quite a bit off. Oh well, guess I had blinders on to everyone but Datsyuk or Hank and can't appreciate the hard working players that you need on a team..... And if you think saying "hard working" for Danny is something that shouldn't have him on the team then this is going even further off track man. Seriously.

They should considering how they TRY to be like a certain organization we know and love

And I agreed...

Again, 2 games so let's pull back the reins a tad. He is certainly looking like a great draft pick right now, for sure.
-
He certainly is right now. Kind of hard to go back and look at how he played this year and call him a beast. Having a stellar playoff performer like this is super important, though that much is true.
-
Yes, I'd take Hossa back. I mean, come on people, I realize it's really tough to grasp but let go of 2009 already.
-
Off to Beantown to face the Sox. Would like to take 1 of these 2 and a really solid pitching matchup tomorrow night. Beckett/Verlander, I shall be tuned in for that one.
-
Must be super lonely on that island.
-
Just awesome, brotha. Thanks for everything, you are the true heroes!

Yeah, sad loss with the passing of one of the great home run hitters the game has ever seen. RIP Harmon Killebrew--June 29, 1936 – May 17, 2011
