Hoping for party time then more hockey Sunday. I am pretty much just about as amped up as someone could be at 10am and a 9pm puck drop....

Pretty hilarious actually. Not sure if anyone can find it but when Mike Fisher got a penalty last game they held up a picture of Carrie Underwood with a Nucks jersey on. Had to laugh a little.

Kaboom Well...it's about 11+ hours away and I am s***ting a brick. At this point, I am just along for the ride and can only hope we come out like we did in game 6 and muster up 60 (and possibly more) minutes of strong hockey. This thing hits OT, I am not going to be feeling too good about it but if we can't do this even strength and in regulation, not much can stop us. All I can remember is game 7 back in '09 against the Ducks. We were up and let the Ducks back in, found a way to bury it at a crucial time. This collective team is definitely beyond playoff tested for these and ready for this game. We have done it before and we will not be denied. No predictions, I am not that type to mess with history. Going to be a lot of fun at the pubs this evening, let's find a reason to party in the streets tonight and get ready for Sunday. GO WINGS!!!!!!

Had to fly under the radar for everyone to enjoy the game. It was for everyone's own good.

As has been said though.. Modano on the ice right now > Franzen on the ice right now That's really the point of it all. I am not even a Modano lover but to point out a guy who has barely played in the past month is kind of redundant really.

Somewhat unrelated, but it goes to show with how the Stanley Cup Playoffs are as well. The hardest and most revered trophy in sport is Lord Stanley's Cup for that very reason. The 16 wins it takes to get it done cannot be even close to rivaled by any other playoffs. Intensity at its overall finest.

I do see a chick in a Colts shirt cheering. That seems rather "fail" worthy but not what this is implying.

I believe 1996-97 was his first year with the Red Wings, so almost like his Wings year birthdate maybe... Not sure but that's the best thing I could come up with.

Not a lot of us can have the resolve like you to put up with Hudler's non-physical play, choppy little strides, and indecision with the puck since coming back to the NHL. His stretch he had while playing with Pav and Cleary was what we felt we were getting when we re-signed him. I can't kill anyone for their play last night except another bonehead Abby penalty again in the 3rd. That has to stop.
