Too true. I will predict, Philly takes it, Chicago takes it, and Boston closes their's out tonight as well. Hopefully it doesn't as I love their beer, women, and lovely landscape, but Canada could very well burn to the ground tonight.

Ouch. Making the prediction in the title, eh? Don't ever want to do that one, brah. We will see but as the first poster said, 3-6 OT's per game would be solid. We shall wait and see but Montreal and Boston will be a great way to start the evening.

Also, I definitely have to call BS on the Inge play being called a "Hit". That dude makes that play 9 out of 10 times. Fielded it, planted, and made a bad throw. Error. Anyway, moving along. Keep rolling boys, I" shall be attending tomorrow. Weather needs to cooperate to see JV throw a gem.

Don't have the particular statistic, but there is also one showing that of the 3, Nick is on the ice against much more quality competition as well. At 40, he is still the standard for the position. +/- is such a buzz statistic but really we have to weigh other stats as well. Would Weber have that many more assists just because he is on the Wings? I mean, we are talking about Nick Lidstrom here. Let's take it easy, I think people are warranted to have a little bit of homer goggles on.

And I'm sorry but we had very very suspect goaltending this year whilst Weber had a Vezina candidate. Those statistics are a lot closer related than those are willing to admit. Nick should win it, but it certainly will be a lot closer than most years.

Franzen not ready to practice??? hmm, hopefully it's not as bad as we were thinking but we know Babs said he is a go for next round. These lines are stellar. Abby with Cleary and Bert is a new favorite of mine.

Can't really go ape s*** about his play but as with most of the guys from the 1st round, I can't complain either.

Here's what I say: Zetterberg- Datsyuk- Cleary Franzen- Abdelkader- Bertuzzi Holmstrom- Filppula- Hudler Draper- Helm- Eaves That 2nd line could be rotational but when together, makes a lot of noise out there and presents huge problems matchup wise. The 1st line will control the puck and just be a headache to deal with. Hank might have to be a center on one of these lines though with working him back in. We will see, but these are the lines I like for maximizing our potential.

The Yandle snub still has to have something to do with playing in Phoenix, I am pretty sure of that. Who knows, though. Big Z had a real good season and that +33 looks quite sexy to the voters.

Should have known with Boston being a bigger market that it would get Z nominated. Still feeling better and better about Nick's chances now. Weber has the only shot of the 3 to take some of the votes.
