But I do agree. Flip and Pash had something working there for a while. The thing about it is and I must say I actually agree with you on this and that's this line Franzen-Abdelkader-Bertuzzi, was spectacular when together. Also, Cleary-Abdelkader-Bertuzzi has been stellar too. It has just helped Abby immensely to be out there with a guy who constantly works like Clears and a guy who can get separation and be strong on the puck as well like Bert. It just shores up the lines much better to have Flip with Huds and Miller. Makes those 2 way better and keeps it consistent throughout all 4 lines.

Correct. This kid is all about the Wings and will be donning an "A" someday no doubt. What a joy it has been to watch him and Abby's game come together the way it has. These guys aren't logging a ton of ice time but when they are out there, things just happen. This is what separates other teams of the past is the youth movement I believe. Keep it up and great game guys!

It was brought up on 97.1 by some fans today about Helm possibly reaching the 30 goal plateau and then the guys on the show went on to shoot that down right away. They also stated that he is more so looking like another Draper. I made that same mistake myself earlier this year of calling him that. But can anyone just go back and look at the tape of Helmer just blasting Jovanovski in the corner, spin, and setup Rusty on a great one-time goal. These are the things that I am seeing from him more and more. The sheer strength this guy has on his skates and now even with the puck is mind boggling. The PK shift he had in the WCF in '09 against Chicago is still one of my favorite moments live at a game and I think this kid's ceiling is getting higher and higher. Not sure about 30 goals but it sure seems as though we can be looking at 40+ points a year and just invaluable PK time out there. Great stuff.

Regular season is just boring to this guy. I shall grant the credit toward Big E, what a pass, but wow can this guy finish. Love the DRIIIIIVE he has had this April.

Just the best. I was there for the '02 Cup clincher and other games and he just battled through every single thing. His whole career is portrayed in this clip. The truest leader sports has ever had and ever will have. Just a great honor to have lived through his entire Captaincy and watch him play. Love ya Stevie!
