They killed off 4 penalties and a 5 on 3 with horrible officiating to boot and still stayed down by 1. If they play like that, I still think they can dispose of this team. Just my opinion there. Also, to add here that Bryz made like 3 real big saves that would normally have gone in. Their play for the 1st wasn't as bad as most make it out to be. -
Now if it only equated to stopping pucks

The stubhub. There were a lot of tickets sitting at below 10 for the longest. I had to grab the 7's and turned out to be the best I ever spent in my life. -
Home ice advantage has come back I'd say. Just 1 game, but that was an "old barn" style feel to it in there last night. One of the best crowds I have ever heard at a game in all the years I have gone and I have seen a Cup clincher in '02 and Lemieux-Mac part 2. Just great stuff Hockeytown!

Rest up, Hank. Even with the amazing flow and puck control we played with last night, I was still missing his presence out there the entire game. We need our playoff rock out there. Encouraging to see this performance out of this group without #40 out there though.

Was so pumped when he dropped the gloves. Klesla getting his face like that and you can tell he didn't really want to do it but then he just had to at that point. Crowd was already roaring and that just set it off. Great great game, keep that momentum going!!! -

Experience wins out right now. I have to say I agree with Babs on this one. Salei's shot blocking and defensive play kind of outweigh Kindl's "euro style" as the OP suggests. Kindl's time is soon but Salei has to be #6 for now. It's only Round 1 Game 1, Babs will make changes if he has to. We wait and see.

If anyone thinks this is bad then they haven't really been watching Miller play of late. Pretty simple. This isn't Modano circa 1999 we are talking about here.

After those quotes, keep him out the whole way then. If the "mind and body" crap comes up then we really don't need him out there. Miller can bring it and has every time he has played.
