Realizing this isn't about naming favorite teams but those entire teams were all my favorites per se but as far as lines go I guess I will go with: Shanahan - Yzerman - Fedorov Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Probert - Larionov - Hull Maltby - Draper - McCarty Lidstrom - Rafalski Kronwall - Konstantinov Fischer (Oh, what could have been) - Murphy Hasek Osgood EDIT: Had to make one more tweak there.

The '97, '98, '02, and '08 Cup teams are all pretty damn great for their own reasons but the '02 team was just spectacular. Pash on the 4th line is just unbelievable to think about.

It's being spoon fed to Flip and Huds?? I keed (so you know I really am) Least of my worries is when Hank will start scoring, he still does what is expected of him night in and night out. Better angle shots, but as it was said on that amazing post on the page before, he is backchecking even more than past seasons and brings the puck into the zone for his line better than most centers do in this league then coincidentally sets them up for more shots. It will come, start it tonight Z.

Also missing Howie already too but if we can get that same tough play out of Kindl and Jonny E then we should be able to hold up against the Oil with Ty between the pipes. Wings take it 5-2 with Hank finally potting 1, Pash also gets 1, Flip, Nick, and Homer on the PP. There it is, my cursed ass prediction HNIC night before Super Bowl

No ifs round these parts. Have to agree with the rest of your post though. Babs was good and ready to just play Jimmy until something like this happened or perhaps worse. He played the entire 3rd, OT, and SO periods with this break and seemed fine. Again to the Doctors of the thread, severity of the break and location is all important really to the timetable aspect. Or even still, how much Conks blows, here is hoping to him stepping it up like its 2008-09.

When has he ever been an amazing point producer aside from when he was on the line with Mule and Hank...any correlation there? He does just what you ask of him night in and night out. Back checks well, gets the puck out of the corners and goes to those places, throws the weight, and has an above average 2nd burst (you don't have to look further than last night's goal against the Nucks). You have tried for the longest to necro the s*** out of past arguments to make yourself seem like prognosticator but no one, especially me, will think much less of Clears. What he brings to this team really doesn't match much of what your little attempts at disposing of such players presents. As others have said, it better damn well be something worth it to let go of Danny. In the coming years, maybe to make way for the talent we have down in GR. Interesting to see an injury to surface such as he had back in the '09-'10 season with the meniscus issue, yet work through it, can't trade for other players like that guy.To make a thread dedicated to the only real topic I have ever seen you post in just reiterates what you bring to these discussions......
