Franzen-Abdelkader-Bertuzzi This line has been FAB ....................

Yeah, not quite sure how this turned into a debate of why NOT to have Bert-Abby-Mule together. The points may have some sense to them and Abby-Helm-Eaves is just energy personified for a 4th line and also makes the combos more seamless especially for the 3rd line. I am on the side that sees that this line, although for 2 games, has been just spectacular. This time of year you really want to find those lines that can really change things for you and all 3 of these guys help the other along. Let it roll, and I bet they keep it up. Hudler-Datsyuk-Cleary is also a line that has a great balance. Flip and Hank seem to benefit also. There is just too many possibilities and fricken early, maybe I will check back in later with some different ones. I still stand by my first combos on the first page

This will be one of those games that turn out to be way better than they might appear. Carolina will be treating this like their 1st round matchup as most teams do when they see the winged wheel against them. Bring it boys, act like it's 2002!!! Should be a victory here though, just keep the focus.

+1 sir. He just does the right things and never gets cheated in his own zone. Constantly working and always throws that extra check to let you know that he is there. Love Patty and hope he gets an extension.

I get the Abby to the 4th line thing but.... watching him play with the skilled players, why would you ever want him off that line? The kid could quite possibly be a more than legit forward in this league with the right talent next to him. It also seems to have done what we were hoping for and lit a fire under Mule's ass. mule's ass. Anywho... I do want Huds with Pav as that seems to help him considerably. Who knows how the cookie shall crumble though.

Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Cleary ... puck control personified with all 3 Bertuzzi-Abdelkader-Franzen ... I am confident you have to keep rolling with this one. Hudler-Flip-Holmstrom ... Not sure this is where it gets odd not sure they are good together Draper/ Modano/Miller-Helm-Eaves ... Actually maybe Miller and as was noted, these guys just go all out and are a perfect 4th line for playoffs. Lidstrom-Stuart Ericsson-Rafalski Kronwall-Salei/Kindl... nearly interchangeable right now but experience wins out currently. Howard- starting I know Modano will be in there and is actually vital for playoffs but just seems to me that with the lines listed its tough to get him above the 3rd or even 4th. We will see though, I am not paid to do that and probably best.

Definitely but for some reason the '09 playoff song was better to me given the result of last year's. Still a good tune there.

Saw this the other day and it doesn't get old going through this stuff. It helps to see the first few years of the 20 year stretch being that I was like 7 and wasn't huge into hockey quite yet. All the others are still as fresh in my memory as ever though. Great stuff, spoiled we are.

Nick gets it this year and that is not to say there isn't any other deserving players for this award. Simply put, Nick has been just steady as ever and could even get a few considerations as a top 10 player in the league type scenario (if there such an award to give). Here is who I go with (and no, Skid mark does not get in for being out for like 3 months): F-Daniel Sedin F-Corey Perry as much as it pains me F-Marty St. Louis D-Nicklas Lidstrom D-Shea Weber G-Tim Thomas G-Henrik Lundqvist Changed my mind on that, King Henrik has been unreal.

Yeah, shame on us for thinking pitching was going to be a strong point. Still early, that is the mantra right now so at least we have that to fall back on. Other than that, we have looked atrocious aside from Miggy, Rhymes, Boesch (1 game) and JV of course.
