I have watched and I would give him a definite for his passing ability. Prime example would be the goal in Tampa where he threaded a spectacular saucer pass which is in this thread somewhere. I will not take a single thing away from Jiri's ability to pass the puck, that I will give you. Val's overall game really is closer to a "Pav-lite" imo, but that's what we are here for. To shell out our own uneducated opinions

So Nashville, after that play feel like trading him to, you know, us? EDIT: Spelling is a big deal to Preds fans.

Brief look at some suspensions: downgoesbrown

That would be cool, if it wasn't for the Sharks.

Here you go...

Watched some videos and the kid is a burner too with great puck skill. Getting the time in the A is for sure the best possible move here. Dance away.

That would be an overreaction. Just more attention due to the players not being able to control themselves and having players like Cooke stamp a black cloud on all of this. It's a cycle and I am confident this "microscope" will pass.

Hmmm, that is a large overstatement. I realize the "lite" part implies he is quite less than him but I would give Flips the "Datsyuk-lite" tag. Hudler is a talented playmaker, no doubt. Just thinking the Datsyuk part to this is overdone considering he has little to no Datsyuk type ability.

FTW but don't feed the constant shtick he tries to present with literally every single post. But hey, it's the safest prediction to make because they get to do the "I told you so" if it happens and if they advance they can say, "meh, 2nd round exit is no different." Keep on rocking chicken littles.

I like Doughty and Jack Johnson (Go Blue!), and that is where it just about all ends. Sharts?

Dang the entire thread was killed.
-
Go No one! Hate both these teams.
-
Let's start a thread instead.

Perhaps poetic justice here.

mlive So we wait for the choices on Saturday.

I did actually acknowledge that all fan bases have their horrible fans. I never once stated that we are the model fan base of all sports. Basically, all that was brought up was the fact that I had little to no clue that it was this bad with this group. It was a generalization but it also had merit and a lot of fans who were there would back it up. Worse was hearing a Wings fan say "Luuuu". It's cool, I still respect the hell out of the entire Vancouver team, it is more or less their fans who I look at differently. Changes nothing and I truly hope we can make it far enough to play against them. Could be a potentially epic series.

If you look at my overall original post, I don't believe it at any point makes it seem like I am trying to feel better about the loss. It in turn is me assessing something I was unaware of being at the game, leaving the game, and even walking outside the arena. Seriously, it isn't a big deal to me seeing how it was mostly 19-25 year old kids talking so I am pretty sure their knowledge goes about as far as say Blackhawks "fans". Hockey is more of a religion in Canada, so I get the passion, but to flash flags in people's faces and attempt to get up in people's faces is something I found to be a joke. If we won, I would still come on here to say we won and Canucks fans act like idiots. The Luuuu thing is whatever. It's a cute gimmick. Not thin skinned. Just honestly had no clue it was as bad as that with this team. I was already aware of the Laughs and the Habs, hell even the Flames hyper agressive, I am from Canada mentality they have about their team. No big deal.
-
Yeah, that's not a miraculous discovery. Either way, pretty classless fanbase. Was unaware it was that bad, and to be honest it wasn't until this year. Hmm, wonder if there is some correlation to any of it....

Nope but apparently I struck one. I am Max Pacioretty's brother in law. All I said was where are these landslide figures you speak of? I realize Chara is a large man, but that has nothing to do with being "the baddest dude in the NHL". Not sure what the super sensitive reply is about. Let's be friends.
-
Until I get a job with the NHL as surveyor or get some contacts with Bob McKenzie, I shall say that they are quite comparable. Some quote or these debates documented would certainly shut me up. Just not sure where you are getting them.
-
I would be willing to bet that no one, not even Chara would want to really mess with Shea Weber. Chara has the height and all of that but Weber is just crazy strong. Just ask what big bad Andreas Lilja thinks of him.
-
^^^ Strong as an ox. Get him Flip!!!

After last night, I blamde Canada even more.
