I think he has taken a step back lately. Watching Ericsson play too much or something But seriously, we can't be too pumped about our bottom pair (not to say we should).Kindl can be pretty effective on the PP at times and then he can just toss the puck errantly behind him to the other team. It's a frustrating part to this team lately. Ericsson, Kindl, and Salei have all been pretty equally bad of late with Kindl getting somewhat of a pass because of the rookie factor. The other 2, well they truly need to figure it out.

This is the team that I would want. Not just travel purposes but for the pure fact that I feel like this is the best test to get it started. Granted most of the Cup years started with a pretty soft first round opponent, I don't feel like this is the year that we can really have that kind of start and keep to it. Bring on the Hawks! They are the one team I would love to see in the first round and no, the regular season matchups don't worry me in the least. Those on here that are saying we have been owned by all playoff teams in the regular season are failing and have obviously not realized that playoff hockey is a far more different brand of the game than the regular season. Hawks? Oh yes please.

Franzen-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Great to see that man in the possible lines even if he is "questionable". I just want him to keep playing so we can beat this team. Nashville has absolutely owned us the last 2 times we have played and that drives me nuts. Just one of those irritating teams I guess. If Rinne stands tall, we could be in a little trouble. If anything he can sit tonight's game out then come back Monday then sit some more out to appease me because I am attending and well, Pav is worth price of admission everytime.
