No offense but I hope he does not. I mean I am sure you hope this too but it looks like 50+ point Hudler is here and here to stay. His play has been so good since Dec. 27th and that is not even with Pav on his line while he was out injured. It was said earlier in this monstrosity of a thread but a hungry, puck controlling, hard working Hudler +Datsyuk = The result we see today. Keep it up Huds! Won't be Hudler or Franzen. So I hope you weren't making some insinuation at that. Currently, I would think it's Abby and Miller as the odd men out with Drapes getting to stay. Possibly a Drapes/Abby rotation.

The HDC line was the new hotness for the last fortnight actually and Bert was unreal. Mule is really the only one that has disappointed for the last "fortnight" as you say.

Absolutely positively the only word that describe their play BORED Having people laugh at the thought of coming to the Joe for a playoff game is also an extreme disadvantage. We have no home-ice advantage at all right now.

Helm has even honed in on his other type of play this year and doesn't hit everything that moves like in the past when he would be called up. Not even comparing the 2 as Helmer's game has finally come full circle and is really becoming one of the top bottom 6 players in the league and PK'ers. Abby is pretty awesome at times and noticeable and then just all of a sudden gets caught up in the too cute type of play which is so far off from his style. I feel he will break out of it and maybe even start scoring some goals here like Helm has seem to figure out how to do. I am not totally abandoning Abby yet. Not by a long shot.

The hunger and desire of past seasons is just not there. I hate to be so caustic but this is a Semi-Finals team(maybe!) at best. They flip the switch and all that but right now they just seem bored.

Probably 50 "tough" guys who can turn on the offense in the league I'd take over Avery just on principle alone.

Proves Malts undying unappreciation people have for his role he played on those teams. Entitled to your opinion you are but watch some old game tape. Maltby is and always will be a very underrated part of those Cup runs. Just overshadowed by an immense amount of talent.
