ummmm why do people want to sit Abdelkader? Been one of our very best PK'ers and has been more than noticeable with the puck on his line. Drapes has been great lately but Abby is not someone to put at the 13th forward spot. Just can't happen.

Yeah, this has been discussed before. The majority of LGW gets all butthurt because Pittsburgh got 2 and why would we get 2 type thing. I would love it if it was here and think Michigan Stadium would be an unreal site for it. Either one works for me though and I will be there if they bring it here. Won't convince me otherwise with all the complaining that we shouldn't get 2 in such a short period of time. Would be great for the state and city of Detroit.

Yeah, I don't think getting rid of a great looking young talent like Wheeler for Kaberle is really what they need. I realize it was to clear Wheeler's salary and they get all these draft picks to possibly get some more younger talent in there. The mishandling of Seguin is kind of boggling to the mind. Kind of indifferent with what Boston got out of this and what they had to give up. Their blue line is almost the opposite of last year's aside from Big Z. I guess that is what their glaring issues were.....

Let's be honest though. I mean Holmstrom's #'s increased being on a dominant line with Pav and Zetterberg. If Huds couldn't get things going with Pav then we would have no choice but to part with him. Glad to see that line clicking on all cylinders
