Modano feeling good, aiming for late-February return
HankthaTank replied to DatsyukianDekes's topic in General
Good stuff, Mikey. Got to admire the hell out of this guy. Here is hoping he brings something extra to the stretch run. On the topics above, you can't sit Abby. He is more than noticeable on a nightly basis out there. Creates chances, starting to really throw weight again, and can be a vital PK'er. Miller and Drapes are the 13th and 14th forwards in this situation and will be a vital role as we know that injuries can happen whenever. I like our depth with everyone coming back and now seeing even down in GR we have some future everyday guys. -
Sporting the Sparky patch for the 2011 season
-
Hellllllll nooooo. I don't fit too well in them and is in no way me bragging lol. The person below me has been to more than 10 Red Wings games in their life.
-
Red...wine Cold trying to get warm or Hot trying to get cool.

Nothing better than a Blue Light or just plain old Blue at Comerica on a hot summer day. Most refreshing beer I can think of. MGD and most Miller products are garbage to me. Miller Lite is pretty much the most overrate beer on the planet Earth. Coor Banquet, however, is super refreshing. Love it.

Uh ohhhhh....... *facepalmage* Sorry just not a "Big E" fan, although home boy has picked up his play as of late. So has most of the team, though. Both look replaceable currently. Ericsson frustrates more than just about any player on the team.

Winner winner chicken dinner. Lulz to this.

Definitely a lot of truth in what is said here. I still believe as being only 5 years away, their primes are still happening and as you said Pavel has never been better than here and now in 2011. Come 2016, hopefully Hank will be able to battle through those aches and pains and be able to contribute which I feel he can. It was more or less a question of the timetable for where you can say WELL past their prime or just simply aging superstars. Either way, I do believe we can see them still competing at a high level when that time does come.
-
In 5 years that's going to be considered WELL past Pav and Hank's prime??? Hmmm. Going to respectfully disagree on that.

Ball jumping out of Zumaya's hand Sure sounds promising but all other seasons have taught us not to get too pumped about Zumaya's health. Here is hoping because he can really be a key cog to some competitive baseball.

Yet adding nothing of note to the topic at hand boggles my mind that such a condescending post would come from you. Thanks for the contrib!!!

Until the end of May/beginning of June come, the numbers are really all we have to base this on so far....
-
Fans helping fans. It's a lovely concept. Remaining on the topic, I guess, I hate the Flyers.
-
Fixed. And I suppose. Versteeg will be a real nice fit for this team. Philly just getting stronger.

10 years?!?! Wow, man that is some high hopes there. I think we see one of those #'s in the rafters in the next 10 and here is hoping it takes a while for that one to go up there. Speaking #5 obviously.

Radio. Sunrise or sunsets?

Talented kid I suppose. Good on him for hitting it big this young. The person below me has not watched a single second of the show "Jersey Shore".

1. Two 2. No 3. No 4. Coach

So my "expert" analysis would be that once Salei returns to the team that Jakub would be back in GR? I am excite to have Stuie back
-
Come on back Stuie! EDIT: All the same stuff everyone else has posted from mlive. Hopefully he can make it back.
-
He has played a productive game this year. Clutch when called upon with face-offs, chipping in with some points, and pretty much hitting everything that moves when he is on the ice. No complaints in bringing him back from me.
-
Looked solid in both games. But.....with a better product in front of him, he didn't have to be a world beater. What a glorious concept!!!!!!
-
Just a rookie. While he hasn't totally blown the world up, he has actually played a little better than Big E (up until these past 2 games where Ericsson just all of a sudden grew a pair). I am willing to wait and see what we may have in him. I am not thinking he is as bad as the OP suggests and feel maybe it's time to stop pointing fingers at kids like him. He does play better defense than Salei I think and better than that one guy that makes 6 mill.

Amazing what being put on a line with #13 can do Keep it up Happy Huds!
