Drinking works with all situations of hockey games just think about it..... In losses they help ease the pain. In wins they make it easier to celebrate. In hat tricks they make you throw your favorite hat on the ice (maybe other garments that are regrettable) In life they make girls more pretty (woops) Yikes this weekend is going to be a trainwreck.....

Couple of very underrated teams especially the Avs. Their youth has given us fits this year so far. I am not trying to be a pessimist about the playoffs one bit as I feel like we really flip the "ON" switch come mid-April but our conference is the most competitive I can remember it in some time.

Totally agreed. I am a sucker for the underdog so here is hoping to have some divisional pride on Sunday. 2 great defenses and 2 clutch QB's. It has the makings of a down to the last second type play to win it. Can't wait!

It is actually pretty good. Pre is better than post game. Shillelagh is much more geared to the younger crowd with the music and atmosphere. I actually go there more for post game but seeing how tonight it will be like -2 degrees I don't see myself walking much. Nemo's it is. Also to not derail (my apologies) but pre/post game hangouts are a must on a GDT imo. Since I am going I will not post a prediction but I am hoping for a real strong game from the boys back on the blue line. Keep up the good work Kindl!

No I know. But drinking and hockey are just a guarantee for me. Actually the bathroom lines have improved immensely over the last few years. Nothing like when I was a kid back in the day and it was a guarantee to miss a good portion of the next period if you went at intermission. Paying more is also a bad thing for me as well lol. So it isn't a terrible idea, I will usually pound a couple at Nemo's.

Yeah, its mostly due to the selection at the Joe. Molson is quite delicious and Miller Lite is honestly my least favorite beer on the planet. I will have EVERY drink in that place before I disrespect my liver to consume that panther piss. I mean they do have Sam Adams and other beverages at that Hockeytown Bar thing but it's like a tiny plastic cup for 7 bucks, nah.
