Hudler, Kindl, draft pick, bag of pucks, Babcock's hair --- Lucic

And there you have it Brooks Laich, please and thank ya.

All I know is he scored 2 goals in the biggest game of my young hockey watching life... Scars man, scars

I am all for the the Wiz signing. That is the actual only one mentioned so far I like until the capgeeks on here tell me otherwise with what's a great deal. I haven't really been too against the Pitkanen but to a point. If it's above 4 mill I would rather it's Wiz and then maybe fill in a bottom 6 forward of some kind. If they re-sign Eaves, Draper, and maybe Miller (doubtful) then that won't happen anyway, especially with Muskrat most likely having a set spot as a 13th for even 4th liner. The Jovo thing I'd rather avoid regardless of the vet presence, I want a banger, right handed shot, who can bring all the intensity in the defensive zone as well. I know that is a description of a pipe dream but that's most likely what we need to try for.

Friday night at the park against the Sawwwkkkssss, should be good times. Ricky P looking to keep up the good work. Got to take advantage of a somewhat falling Indians team. Also, too bad for Buster Posey, broken leg and some ligament damage. The unfortunate part of blocking the plate and having the foot planted as such. He played that perfectly but paid the price. Hopefully he can make a swift recovery but his 2011 season is done.
-
NO! but Yes. What is with the love for Jovo, and I realize you have to overpay for FA's nowadays but, 5.5?!? FFS, really?
-
No thanks to Gagne. He is a bag of milk who, at that salary, isn't worth the fact he won't be out there for more than 60 games and the fact his time has kind of run out on being effective. I liked his game a little while back but not anymore, I believe we have the forward depth that we need anyway. DEFENSE, folks.

If Franzen kept scoring at the pace he did in the 5 goal Ottawa game, he was scoring at a 410 goal pace. Tough to ignore this, or you might be totally dumbfounded to wrap your head around that one. Now see how that sounds??? EDIT: Crymson is a Rhodes Scholar

Sign Weber... Anyways, there are plenty of threads on this.

Not sure what people are negging you for other than fight part you had to throw in. Clowe, although a prick on the Sharks, would be welcomed with open arms no doubt. Now this said, it's great to hear about him getting what he deserved after asking Kronner to come after him; poetic justice at its finest. Best part of the hit is the audio where the players yell for him to look up and it was waaayyyy too late
-
I would sort of forgive him for the game 7 goal binge he had there... Well kinda. Regardless, he wouldn't be too bad of an add to the roster and the bottom 6. It would be a bit nauseating to cheer him on as I also think he is a ****** but he just might help.
-
Too bad all the negs in the world won't make your pointless negative ass posts go away. Meh, oh well keep on truckin' brotha. Mitch Callahan still has a couple of years
-
Yeah, bad game for the boys. Hit the reset button and get 'em tomorrow.
-
Probably what makes us great/irritating but I think bring him back for 1 more year and subsequently less than what he was making last year (1.578!! ). Not sure what cheap contract he can be bought at but he was actually pretty good this year and in the playoffs and is a great mentor. 13th/14th forward isn't that crazy of an idea to me. I also wouldn't be totally hurt to see him walk either.

I can already see it turning into another Ericsson type thing though. Although Ericsson has been garbage toward the tail end of the season, if Smith is not this anointed next great dman we have all held him up to be, we have ourselves a brand new whipping boy, no doubt. I have all the hopes in the world for him.

Ken Holland: Open to trade to replace Rafalski
HankthaTank replied to wingsownnhl43's topic in General
I would be alllll for Suter coming here. Make some necessary, reasonable moves here and there and bring Suter in. -
Nick will be back, I flat out have no doubt about this. Raf just had all the factors listed. Body couldn't do it, mind was made up, and time to spend more time with family. Those are normally the key contributors.

Brian Rafalski announces retirement after 11 NHL seasons

+100!!!!!! -
Here is one But everyone loves game 7's!!!! Should be some fun to watch.
-
Yeah, I'm sorry but we really need this guy on the team
-
He sounded like someone who was completely comfortable with his decision and even stated he made the choice months back. It wasn't really as "tough" as some are making it here. It was a done deal back in March, the man's knees and back were torched. It's unfortunate but he is not coming back.
-
Pretty much the same old argument we expected though. Also have to look at the teams out West like Anaheim, Phoenix, or LA that consistently can't sell their barn out unless it's a Wings West home game. Just the breaks of being such a well traveled team.

Joey T makes Bobby proud with the same act.
