i knew he would come back, and i agree with ken saying that lidstrom is still the best defensemen in the league. people that are dissapointed with his contract need to take a rain check.

yeah it wouldnt work for hockey because instead of one game its potentially seven and each team gets their fair share of home ice advantage except the better team of course gets to have game 7 at home, if it goes that far. so each team has games that their fans are able to attend easily, unlike the NFL, which is only one game, and by putting it in a specific place, its more likely to be fair for both teams.

dont forget that we had an abnormal amount of injuries last season that really hurt us in the long stretch. i think we will be a better team next year with the addition of hudler to the lineup, if we arent plagued by injuries like last season.. and i know every team is going to have injuries, but the wings in particular had a ridiculous amount, to key offensive and defensive players for long stretches of time -
haha this post is funny to me because just the other day i felt like putting on my yzerman jersey that i got when i was in second grade. needless to say, it doesnt really fit me too well anymore hah

thats sooooo tight!!!!!!!!!!!! i live in indiana so i dont expect to run into any wings players but i did meet peyton manning and dwight freeney last week (they were golfing at the country club i belong to) so i know how exciting that is to run into such amazing people. -
im hoping cleary can prove me wrong and be a better point-producer next season.

Stanislav Galiev!!! i live in indiana and he played ffor the indiana ice (junior team) 2 years ago so i think that would be cool to see him as a pro, especially for the red wings!

theyre my second favorite team now because ive always liked them, and now that yzerman is in charge of things, i will like them even more.

draper is a great guy but i agree, i think hes just too old now and not productive enough. -
he is a midget, i dont know how his size would match up against NHL players..

i dont know why any red wings fan is saying they dont believe in their team... i dont think the hawks got that much better then us in one year.. and we beat them last year 4-1....

yeah i doubt the wings, or any team, will catch the canadiens in number of cups, and id rather root for the canadiens then any of the other teams. also it would be a nice underdog story for them to win this year.

i dont know how you can say the blackhawks are better at faceoffs than the sharks when the sharks won more faceoffs in 3 out of the 4 games...
