I say, since we have two picks coming up, we take Arzmastsev with Nikita Nesterov. Defense pair in russia juniors. Both listed as potential sleepers in the draft. Smart D-men both offensively and defensively.
-
how the hell was Seth Ambroz taken at 128 when he was ranked midterm at 27th. Mike Morreale had him going 8th
-
Now i hope the Wings take Zakhar Arzmastsev. Smart defensively, Russian D-man, and has good puck control and passing abilities.
-
Winnipeg takes Yuen at 119
-
Marek Tvrdon 6'2" 210lbs RW from Vancouver Slovakian born WHLer
-
1 pick away for yuen. please dont pass on him, holland
-
He was available but, IMO, due to the last two picks already being d-men, Holland went with a center. Cant really blame him. Only hope now is that he lasts another 13 picks. still looking possible.

not according to NHL.com http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=118655#&navid=nhl-search

alan quine

he was actually ranked at 69th which i still think is still underrated for his potential
-
3 picks away. Yuen would be a steal at 85. still available
-
If we could somehow get Zach Yuen with our 85th pick, i would call this a very successful draft so far.

Crosby just heard the news:
-
is there any way to hear or watch this presser

I agree that size and strength is something a team needs, but i also believe it is impossible to tell how a player will adjust to this league before he is in it. a player may be big and strong, but not use it. ie: Jakub Kindl - 6'3" - avg .917 hits a game - Darren Helm - 5'10" - avg 1.56 hits a game. this team shouldnt draft for size they should take it after its been in the league(free agents and trades). thats why Khokhlachev would be the ideal pick for the wings, hes like a russian Briere

Kurt Kleinendorst. current ahl calder cup winning coach. former us world juniors gold medal winning coach. both two teams had completely different playing styles and he adapted and led them to championships. would work well with babs in my opinion.

I am a season ticket holder in Binghamton and I ask that my fellow LGWers cheer on my team to take the Calder Cup. The series is tied 2-2 with Game 5 in Binghamton tonight. This cup would be huge for our city and team. GO SENS.
-
I feel the Sens in six has a better ring to it, as the Binghamton Senators are the 2011 CALDER CUP CHAMPIONS!!!!
-
Cowen has been loved in binghamton and a huge contributor to our success. On the downside, hes questionable for tomorrows game with concussion like symptoms after a dirty hit from Jed Ortmeyer, who you may remember from last years san jose/detroit series.

What do you guys think of Zbynek Michalek? Big, mobile dman. GREAT shot blocker. Would pair well with Kronwall. -
I realize that the odds of this happening are lightyears beyond possible. just looking for input on the idea, which players from this list you would keep and which players would fit in on the wings. Brian Rafalski announces retirement after 11 NHL seasons
X13WINGS13X replied to MacK_Attack's topic in General
we could actually get Erik Johnson and Weber realistically if we lose Salei, Draper, Osgood and/or Modano Lidstrom - Weber Kronwall - Johnson Stuart - Ericsson/Kindl
