McCarty usually charges around 20 bucks for in store signings, thats just his price. he'll sign for free at charity events or other events aswell, but with in store signings, its generally 20 bucks. plus anyone who collects wings autographs probably has him on a few things. If i went to this signing, which i plan on, i'd probably just get the 60 dollar ticket that includes both sigs and the 16x20, so a single signed lemieux item isnt going down on my end. him charging 5 dollars more than McCarty isnt a big deal though. he's travelling here, and someone's likely gonna call him a dick at some point.

oh great, check out the latest from china. much thanks to dhgate seller "dream hot store" for the quality product.

CCM's, Nike's, and (least favorably) Starter's are actually easy to find and you can get great deals if you skim ebay. Especially if you're looking for an older player. I'd just be careful to look at the pics thoroughly, sometimes a customized one may have s***ty disproportioned lettering. I hate when the lettering on the name doesn't have the correct slanted letters, or smaller numbers on the back than it should. Even hockeytown authentics doesnt have the correctly sized numbers on the back. they're a bit smaller than they should be, which I think is kinda f***ed up considering they're current product and from one of the more legitimate sources possible. Anyways, as for ebay deals, heres a good example. someone in clinton township is unloading what looks to be a mint and nicely lettered CCM replica McCarty for 26 bucks and $9.00 shipping, buy it now listing. http://cgi.ebay.com/CCM-Heavy-Mesh-Detroit-Red-Wings-McCARTY-Jersey-MEN-M-/330518516375?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item4cf4705297#ht_666wt_825 I'd jump on it if it wasn't a Medium. I actually did go the chinese knockoff route on one occasion... I really wanted a Mikko Koivu Minnesota home jersey (the red one with the green circular logo), and I decided to give a chinese knockoff a try because a friend just bought a completely amazing looking Price Canadiens jersey. It looked beautiful, the only flaw was that it smelled of child labor. It literally smelled like the s*** those chinese box vendors sell at flea markets. I paid 50 bucks, shipped. Anyways, what I got was an AWAY jersey, horribly lettered, and threads already coming loose from the hem's and a couple seams. I detached the Koivu name plate and plan on re-centering it somewhere down the line, but i'll probably never wear it because its like 2 sizes too small and fits like scuba gear. I'll never buy a knockoff ever again.

So Lemieux is signing the turtle picture? ahhahahahahha I find that hilarious if anything.

i think it was completely irresponsible of her to leave s*** like that inside of her car. especially overnight. people break into cars all the time, often just for an mp3 player or loose change and cigarettes. i'm sure the thieves expected some form of big dollar item out of whatever classy ride she has, and they probably didn't expect to score the level of stuff that they did. its completely possible that it was a random break in too...

wherever you guys are getting the pics from of the blues/columbus jerseys, those are definitely chinese knockoffs, haha. and anyhow, both jerseys rip off the jersey that the minnesota wild has been using for years. first as their 3rd jersey, and now as their official home jersey:

100% legit . those are the tickets printed up by the joe louis arena box office. sometimes their ticket printers have plain tickets without the wings logo, but 3 of the 5 games i bought tickets for at the JLA box office last year were exactly like the ones you got. and the nice larger glossy tickets you mention getting in the past, those are the tickets they make for season ticket holders. the majority of tickets look like that, and the rest are printed as they're purchased on tickets like the ones you have, or on plain tickets at ticketmaster locations.

yeah, unless you find someone who doesnt know what they have, you probably wont find one for less than $400, especially with the tags attached like that site has. this one i found on ebay actually has way better pictures for reference. http://cgi.ebay.com/STEVE-YZERMAN-Red-Wings-AUTHENTIC-CCM-ULTRAFIL-JERSEY-/360212234139?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item53de527f9b

if its this jersey, the "A" would be a proper addition. http://www.sportsmemorabilia.com/sports-products/steve-yzerman-detroit-red-wings-jersey-ccm-authentic-461.html CCM on the back with the orange/black nhl logo to the right of it.

If you've been trying to get an authentic Modano auto for years, you probably wouldnt mind if it were a late minnesota north stars item. DC Sports (local detroit memorabilia shop) has been liquidating their autographed lithographs from an early 90's signing they had with Mike, and John Casey (goalie) of the then Minnesota North Stars. each one is signed and numbered by the artist, and then signed in-store back in the early 90's. the same artist did a few other DC sports exclusive lithographs that were signed by players too. all of them are dirt cheap right now, and I'd assume they'll mail to Germany. Modano is $9.99 heres all of them http://www.detroitcitysports.com/servlet/the-Lithographs/Categories I bought the Modano and Jon Casey at DC sports a couple weeks ago, and they look awesome. Some people dont dig lithographs though. plus you wont find a better quality modano signature, none of the ones on the lithographs are rushed or anything like some of the stuff on ebay.

Kevin Hodson is a lawyer of some sort I believe. correction: (from wikipedia) " After Hockey Kevin Hodson returned to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Algoma University. Hodson now works as a financial adviser with Edward Jones."

CCM Pro Chelios w/ NHL200 patch on front. I got it signed in silver last summer, and it looks s***ty in the pic. I should have gotten it in black. regrets :[ John Vanbiesbrouck Panthers replica Starter home jersey (favorite non wing as a kid) Starter Pro Coyote's jersey. I got a stain on the front about 10 years ago that i never took care of Flyers replica Starter Yzerman CCM vinatage replica. I have the NHL75 patch ready to put on the front but have yet to do so 1997 Hockey Hall of Fame Starter Hasek CCM replica Kozlov Black Starter Maple Leafs Nike Replica Yzerman Nike Pro Mario Lemiuex Starter Replica 98 Stanley Cup Champs CCM Replica 1997 Stanley Cup Champs Black Starter Fedorov 1998 Nagano Olympics Team Russia Nike 1998 Nagano Olympics Gretzky Yzerman 1998 Nagano Olympics I have a few more but these are what I had pics of ready to go. I definitely need to get a jersey of the current era wings, but the reebok jerseys are a definite turn off for me

cheerleading in general is ******* stupid. maybe if it were college hockey that would be alright. what teams currently have cheerleaders anyways? offhand, im pretty sure i seen a thing on tv about the caps having a cheerleading squad. who else? to me, cheerleading in pro hockey is as visually entertaining as those s***ty video ads on the sideboards. its 3 steps below a suited mascot, or san jose skating out of a giant shark mouth, im not against things that may draw new fans, but cheerleader squads i think is too much. doesnt fit with the game at all.

I'm not affiliated with DC Sports, but these signings are pretty decently priced and i didnt see any mention of them here, so heres the info!: I'm definitely gonna get a few things signed by lindsay. HHOF stick and jersey, an old school wings puck, mini retired number banner, and hopefully I can get a nice 11x14 pic, and if not ill go with an 8x10. Eaves I'm probably just gonna get one. a puck or 8x10.

you stapled a jersey to your wall?

hahahaha, larry murphy is slurring words and looking kinda drunk or some s*** right now.

Eaves and Lindsay signings coming up at DC Sports

$12.50 isnt that bad at all for a current player that isnt quite star status. plus its a friday, im sure a good amount of people would show up to this. getting stuff signed for free is always nice, but i dont mind in stores that cost money at all. and with the free signings that happened in the last few months, i'll throw a bit of money on this. -
I read that its written but pre production and filming hasnt gone down yet, id assume a good time to do that would probably be the winter as far as filming goes if the majority is supposed to be filmed here. i really hate that sean william scott dude, but this movie sounds awesome regardless of that.

mighty ducks 3 "D3" is definitely the third best hockey movie ever, with mighty ducks and mighty ducks "D2" in first and second respectively. slapshot is classic, yes, but gordon bombay and charlie conway destroy everything else. add goldberg in net, danny tamborelli, and that guy fulton reed who'se obviously 20 and not 13, and you have the perfect hockey movie, and an awesome trilogy. plus mike modano was in the first movie. he has about 30 seconds of screen time and a short line directed at emilio estevez when gordon bombay brings the team to the met center where the north stars played.

the baby blue red wings jerseys were made by starter and were sold between 1996 and 1998 when starter had the rights to make replica jerseys for the whole league, and the on ice pro jerseys for a few teams. they came out along with the black jerseys that way more people know about. theyre definitely ugly as hell, but i wouldnt mind having one 14 years later, since they're pretty rare. that hockey fail blog states that they were probably a practice jersey, but thats definitely not the case. they were just some bulls*** starter started selling along with the black jersey. i remember baby blue being a really popular color back then with the kids. half the kids in my middle school had a north carolina tar heels jersey or baby blue fubu jersey of some kind. i was 12 when these came out, and i really wanted either a baby blue or black kozlov starter jersey, and went with the black one. which was a good call, because i would have felt like a dick if i rocked the baby blue in 9th grade in 1999, but the black never let me down. i also got somewhat of a jersey foul made in 1997 when i saved up for this bad boy:

Zetterberg Auto signing, 9/23 - Hockeytown Authentics
Detroit40oz replied to VladyIBELIEVE16's topic in General
I've seen pics of things he's recently signed from guys who seen him outside of the hotel he was staying at when he was first settling into the detroit area, and he signed them as "90" but if it was a dallas stars or minnesota north stars item, im sure he'd sign it as "9"
