He was traded by Boston because of the dumb deal Toronto gave up for him by Burke. 2 1st round draft picks (Seguin and Hamilton) and a 2nd round pick. Kessel is good, he doesn't have a #1 center yet still produces 35+ goals a year and was over a PPG player last year on a terrible team. I still think he was one of the best wrist shots in the entire league. That being said, your right he won't be traded to Detroit because they are going to the division next year.

Imagine if he only shot more, thats what I think most people have a problem with. I know that is my issue with him, he's a good player but until he plays like last year I don't think he is worth 5 million dollars. Right now he looks like the 40-45 point Flip from previous years.

Why hasn't Huskins had a chance to play if our D has been this terrible ? He was actually a bright spot and I fel more comfortable with him on the ice. -

Nyquist already has half the points of Abby but he will be sent down after the game for getting an assist. Edit: seriously Franzen.. you have a 1 on 1 and you skate back to our zone just to turn it over ? f*** right off.

It was just a lame excuse. They could fit him on the 2nd line but Babcock wants Abby there so he can turn over the puck and not stand in front of the net half the time. They should have kept Tatar up and went with Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Franzen Brunner - Kronwall Tatar - Flip - Nyquist Smith - Kindl Now that is a lot better than having a career 4th liner with 2 points on it that has proven he hasn't done a damn thing with that time already this year.

So if the players decide who plays, who's the idiot that plays Abby and Cleary in the top 6. I guess the players make that decision as well ? I never thought I would start hating Babcock, but this is starting to get ridiculous. -
