This year about everyone in the Minors is better than Cleary, and Quincey. Why are we wasting roster spots for players like them, when you have kids that can play equal and provide energy while gaining experience at the same time. The problem is Detroit is going to have to start calling up the kids because this team isn't deep anymore, now they have reasons to call them up but they are still not doing it. I know they just called up Tatar but I believe it won't be long until he is sent back down even if he plays better than Cleary.

I don't even care if he is only 176lbs (Erik Karlsson was only 170lbs last year as a defensemen). He would still do better things and be more productive than Cleary right now. I would love for the Wings to get rid of the leaving kids int he minors. Look at some of these other kids that are currently playing, Tarasenko, Galenchuck, Yakupov etc. makes me wonder when we can get some youth injection into the lineup. These are the lines I would like to see next year if we don't make any trades / signings. I totally agree, but there was goals the last couple games that I have no clue what Kronwall was doing on the defensive side, especially the 2nd goal against yesterday when he just stood and watched the pass and shot.

He was on the ice for 3 of the 4 goals against tonight. He was on the ice for all 3 St Louis goals last night. He was on the ice for Dallas' lone goal in the 4-1 win. He was on the ice for 1 of the 2 Chicago goals in the 2-1 OT loss. He was on the ice for 2 of the 3 Wild goals during that game. He wasn't on the ice for either goal against in the 2-1 loss to the Stars. He was on the ice for 2 of the 3 goals against in our 5-3 win against the BJs. He was on the ice for 2 of our 6 goals against in the opening night loss. All told he's been on the ice for 14 of the 24 goals against, that's 58% of the goals scored against us.

The last time we played BJ's I believe we didn't have the lineup changes. Hopefully with the newer lines we can play better against them.
