Honestly, do sometihng with the first line... absolutely nothing is happening with them right now.

I picked Nash. Big, strong, physical, skilled power forward that can deke around the whole team and goes to the dirty areas. Maybe he can motivate Franzen to play like a power forward all the time. Would be pretty damn sweet to see 2 guys like that on the top 2 lines, makes for very dangerous lines especially with Dats and Z setting them up.

for getting cold ? hes done it consistently for the year, im not even talking about scoring goals, its his overall play. He won't backcheck and he's not going to the right areas or battling. He turned over the puck 5 times (when I actually started counting). It would be interesting to point out where I thought he was the second coming, I constantly lay on him for his effort. Watch the first 10 games this season and how he played, then watch the next 35. Don't compare Stamkos to Franzen...

I don't think anyone has a problem with the Z line, just with Franzen right now. Hes floating and not backchecking again like he does soo many times during the year. No hustle, no hitting, not even really trying to set anything up. On that last goal, Z was in the corner with 2 shark players, meanwhile Franzen was waiting in the other corner all by himself waiting for a pass that wasn't coming, then when turned over he patiently skated back to the bench and called for a line change. The other players on the line are trying to get it going and hes just being bad.

Cleary - Datsyuk - Hudler Holmstrom - Zetterberg - Bertuzzi Franzen - Filppula - Abdelkader Modano - Helm - Eaves Until Franzen starts playing abit better and stop being a liability on the ice. Hudler got that treatment, and Franzen hasn't done anything in the last 10 games.

If we meet San Jose in the playoffs again I don't like the matchup.

Franzen needs to start playing a little harder too.. hes not shooting the puck at all and not creating any real good scoring chances lately. Zetterberg can't get his line going when hes not putting in the effort.

Draper won that faceoff clean.. Kronwall just had a weak attempt to clear and cost them the goal.
