I get that but that doesn't change anything. If Tavares had the same bad attitude and showed up late his first day and was taken 1st overall, they wouldn't send him back to juniors. Same if Crosby did it, Ovechkin, Stamkos etc. Any top player in the league.

My numbers above didn't even include possession numbers which Datsyuk and Tatar dominated and finish 1 and 2 on the team. Still think Nyquist will be the better player. Conclusion: They are way too close to call right now.

Not that different and stating Tatar got to play with Datsyuk doesn't mean anything. They are both really good players. Nyquist got to play with Abby, Z 24% of the time while Tatar played with Helm and Datsyuk 28% of the time. Looking at the list below Nyquist got to play with the better players. Nyquist also played more PP minutes (3.00) then Tatar (2.29) last year. And who exactly is going to replace them? You need cheap young players that you developed in the cap world. Pulks is 23 and Jurco is 22. Your acting as if they have been in the league for 6-7 years and aren't doing anything. They were both coached by Blashill, they know how he is and coaches. They will be fine. Yeah, that story is absolutely incredible. He's a great person, wish more athletes would follow his lead and do stuff like this. Good of the guys like Z and others to do there part too, he does a lot for the community and for the organization.

They are obviously trying to lure Tavares.
