100 percent agree with this. Datsyuk is the better center, if anything Z will be a winger for the rest of his career with some smaller center duties here and there. -
Most of Brouwer goals came from the best PP in the league last year. He really isn't that good.

No one is comparing Myers to Chara, it's comparing Myers struggles to his entire game change when going to Winnipeg. The same thing can happen with Green. Detroit has far better two way players then Washington to help out with any defensive issues he has. -

Only one person said he was a trainwreck, and it was Ferraro. The rest of the panel was saying how much of a good fit it is for Detroit because they felt he fits our system very well. http://www.tsn.ca/red-wings-sign-green-to-three-year-deal-1.323144 The only way the money changes is if Green gets more term. It's very fair where it is right now imo. Plus you have a player that is very excited to come to play for the Wings. -

Goals are nice, but we don't need anymore wingers. You were complaining earlier about Jurco / Pulks not getting a chance but then you want to bring in a winger? We have a position open at center, which allows us to slide Sheahan down to 3rd line center to provide more depth. I just gave the example of how good Richards was in the playoffs last year. He would most definitely help us against some of the East teams, seeing how much better the West is. -

Then you can say that about any player that has success. ex: Tatar / Nyquist only has success because they are only focused on D and Z. You are talking about a guy that has had 91 points twice in his career. He isn't some scrub, although he is slowing down. -

A roster spot that plays center. Who else is going to play there? Datsyuk is out to start the season. Injuries are going to happen this year. Playing with the Hawks will defininetely help the stats, no doubt. He just scored 37 points, playing center. Ward only had 1 season with a higher PPG, let's also mention he is 35 years old. Ward had less points last year the Richards and got to play with Ovechkin and Backstrom. -

Exactly. He outplayed Toews, Kane, Hossa, Saad etc. in that series. I thought Anaheim had the team to win it all this year. That is very impressive. Edit: Put it this way, if it keeps Cleary off our team it's a huge win for us. -

RIchards had 14 points, in 24 playoff games last year. Was there best forward against Anaheim as well. -

I am but I don't see anything wrong with these two signings today. Btw, you overpay on FA, it's like one of the most known things that happen today. Green at 6 is still better then Wiz at 5.5 imo. -
