Yep, Hopefully Babcock was paying attention. Jurco absolutely had the goalie beat, just couldn't get it up. -
So that takes away that he was our best dman last year in the playoffs? Go read what Babcock and Blash had to say about him. He is better then Evans and should have been playing over him. Plain and simple.

Mule just lollygagging around again. -
Except he was our best Dman last year. I guess we should have gave up on Tatar this year because he started slow too. 18 games to start the year is way to small of a sample size, especially after what he did last year.

He did last year and was probably our best dman in the playoffs, he wanted to be a regular this year. Sure he wasn't off to a good start this year but he is better then Evans for sure. This is more of a roster mismanagement by Holland then Backman being a "sore loser". Kindl / Lashoff shouldn't even be on this team, XO should be up full time.

Can't really blame Backman. Evans blows and is a career AHL player, Backman should be given the opportunity over him. Backman was huge for us in the playoffs last year, and Babs loved what he saw from him all last year.

Ovi's goal was amazing. Still think Vlad has the GOTY right now. To pull off what he did at full speed is incredible.

Z and D are not leaving Detroit, most GM's already know that so it's very unrealistic to include either in any packages. Like someone else said it starts with Nyquist /+ Mantha ++ -

I agree, but let's be realistic if we are making proposals. This isn't NHL15 where you can just force trades. -

Not even close to getting Hall with that package. Edm give up a top 5 winger in the NHL for... Helm - 3rd liner at best Smith - Top 6 D man (at best top 4). Pulks - AHL winger who is currently unproven. Realistic package will start with Tatar, Nyquist or Mantha, then ++ -
Pretty sure Babs doesn't select the shooters.

I don't understand the coaches decisions on the shootout lineup. Z hasn't scored in how many games? He is lacking confidence I don't think he should go especially giving his shooutout numbers of late. Sheahan should be given a chance, he has nice mitts. -

I like that trade, I think it def makes us better. Not sure Arizona takes Franzen though, I could see them wanting Tatar, or Jurco. -
