I would take some people's opinions with a grain of salt on here. Some users just a few days ago were talking about trading Datsyuk and Zetterberg, I won't mention any names but I'm sure we know the usual suspects.

To be fair your argument makes no sense. You are comparing Quincey signing to Legwand signing and they don't even play the same position, not to mention we don't need anymore centers especially ones that won't be utilized correctly (Babcock putting him on 4th line in the playoffs )

We met the worst matchup last year, if we got Pittsburgh it could have been a totally different outcome. Last year everyone wanted to match up against Pittsburgh because we had a chance to beat them, now all of a sudden we can't beat them with the exact same team and they have gotten worse?

What is happening with Tatar? They signed Sheahan, and Mrazek but haven't signed Tatar yet. I am wondering if he will be included in a trade?

They signed all these guys so they can just trade them away in a year or two to get more draft picks. Half the signings don't make any sense for them.

This just shows how little we really know. We base our arguments off nothing but rumors and not facts. Pens could have been talking 1 year deal the whole time, all it takes is an insider to report the wrong thing or jump the gun. Insiders aren't gods, they don't get all the information.

Don't bother. This is what I meant by my post in another thread. It's the Suter situation all over again. He didn't want to play here this year, he wanted to maximize his value but somehow this is Hollands fault.

He didn't want to come here obviously, which is why he signed for 1 year on a team that is a contender every year.
